ok football gurus, got a question for you, first I know teams like the Cowboys have someone that scouts the teams that they are going to play, for example, say Cleveland this year, whomever is in charge of pro scouting, i think its jason garretts younger brother judd this year, he would go look at games of Cleavand in peseason, gather tapes and bring that info back to the Cowboys showing clevelands strengths? and weaknesses.
Does that same person look at the Cowboys games tapes and see what he sees as the Cowboys weaknesses and strengths, then he shows the cowboys what he sees as cowboys weaknesses and strengths in ways opposing teams would attack you? In that you can set a team up, sometimes, knowing that they may see something so they can attack you on what they see as your weaknesses but you change at the last minute and attack them eithe on defense or offense. I remember thats what the great coach Tom Landry would do, he would set you up, then attack you.
In that does that same person doing the evaluating of opposing teams, and maybe the Cowboys, does he look at the Cowboys, say for instance the Cowboys in say December last year and the playoff game and give an overview of why the Cowboys got beat, what they need to change, even the coaches? Even say a breakdown of after the big game against Green Bay and where the Cowboys seemed to start falling flat. Then he reveals that to the Cowboys. So, that Jerry Jones can see a breakdown on what the philosophy was say in December and the playoffs, and maybe see a few things, ideals, and strategies that need to be changed.
Example, maybe then they can see how the Cowboys prepared before the bye week and after, and maybe need to make changes etc? Wouldn?t this also help Wade Phillips to show him what really happened on their thinking, even Wade?s own thinking, etc without getting Wade phillips on the defensive side? joe
