For all you PFF fans - Dallas has their 16th best roster

Philly has their 7th. Washington is basically tied with us at 17.

This creates quite the connundrum for those PFF fan boys on this board that love to use their rankings to show how awesome some of our players are and how fans are wrong to criticize some of our players. PFF thinks we have a pretty middling, average roster.

I like pff because they have the best football podcasts. Some of you dudes listen to Jeff Cavanaugh and have the nerve to judge pff. That's hilarious to me

The next time I listen to Jeff Cavanaugh will be my first.

There are few I put any real stock in. Sturm, typically, has some good stuff and backs it up with video.

I thought that a year ago but a JV division made the talent appear better than it was.

 

That's probably fair at the moment. We've got a lot of unknowns.

Will any of the receivers step up to replace Cooper and Wilson, especially with Gallup out? Washington can't be rated very highly based on his career so far, and none of the other players have shown they deserve to even be rated yet.

Will Tyler Smith be an improvement at guard? I think he will be, but we certainly can't say yet.

Will Dante Fowler and Sam Williams be capable pass rushers in place of Gregory? Like Washington, Fowler can't be highly rated based off his last couple of years, and we've been hit and miss with second-round picks.

We've got a big unknown at kicker right now and our DTs would have to be considered fairly average. We've got some plus areas, but those areas with question marks should be held against us when judging rosters.

Did the Bengals do some crazy stuff this off season to improve their roster? They ranked them 24th last year. Now they're at 8.

 

When you have Burrows leading the way you will always be top 10.....

 

We're actually the 7th NFC team on that list. There's really not a lot of good teams in the NFC. We'd truly have to suck to not make the playoffs. The 7th seeds sucked last year.
