Lets take Wentz first. Did you listen to the game Monday night. The announcers made that statement during the game when Wentz was evaluating the defense for the play, and if you have been watching the NFL network shows all (ALL) of the analyst said the same thing. Now on to Dak, If you watched the games he has four running plays and four passing plays. This could be because of the coaches and if you watch the NFL network shows they also talk about this. This is what makes the Cowboys so predictable. If this is coaching then they believe that the Cowboys can out muscle the opponent.

You need to watch more analyst shows.

FWIW, I think that's been the knock on Dallas.............. they run a fairly simple offensive system. Not sure it has anything to do with Prescott, who by all indications, is a very smart guy who spends a ton of time studying film, etc.

The Eagles are just a more aggressive and diverse offense. I mean even last night, you saw pass plays that showed creativity that we simply don't have.

It's okay to say Wentz is good, but this is completely made up. What facts do you have to back up this statement?

It is made up. And Wentz' own offensive coordinator has said they're running a limited version of their offense in PHi still.

Wentz is playing great. But not great enough to justify mania...from Cowboy fans of all people. Show a little self-respect, dudes.

Not made up! You need to watch the analyst shows too! How many articles do we need to show?

We will find out shortly how Wentz plays under pressure now that his stud left tackle is out for the year.

Easy boy, easy! Wentz looks more like Brady to me. Dak is not a gun slinger but could be a touch passer for short to intermediate passes like Terry Bradshaw was. Time will tell.

Terry Bradshaw a touch passer? Seriously?

Bradshaw was a down the field thrower, and was known for the RPMs he put on the ball. A touch passer and short/intermediate pass thrower is not any way indicative of how Bradshaw played.

One of my favorite Bradshaw stories was a veteran WR was making fun of Terry when he first came to the Steelers and Terry threw the ball so hard that it got stuck in the WR's facemask.

Terry also ran a legit 4.5 forty time out of college.

Heckuva athlete.

And I don't know of a QB that really runs all of the playbook in the league. Usually they take about 30 to maybe 45 plays in the playbook come gametime. Some plays the QB isn't good at or the team isn't good at or hasn't practice them enough, etc.

The QB's that would use more of the plays in the playbook were usually Mike Martz QB's and that didn't always work out well.

"For all your Wentz haters. I told you so!" LOL, dude really? They lost their first game to KC. Their next 3 opponents had a combined record of 3-8. Then comes Cam whose been sucking it up this year, and tosses 3 picks. Holy Moly here comes those 'skins again. Where on earth is Atlanta or Green Bay. My gosh, they have one of the most favorable schedules in the league. I guess you missed that ANALYST broadcast.

With that said, you're tooting your horn a bit too early. For starters, there's 2 months of football left. Last year those boo birds won 4 consecutive beating the undefeated Vikings to only end up losing 7 or their last 8 games. Had Dallas not sit their starters at the last game for the Egals, they would of lost their last 8 of 8 games. If an so called "analyst" says the Egals will win the SB this year, are you going to fall for that too? I'll remember your post, if I'm wrong, I'll come back and eat some crow. But if I'm not, I guarantee you, I'll come back & hunt you down!

Philadelphia Eagles born 1933 and still counting....

There's limiting the playbook because of what you like to do, and then there's limiting it to simplify it for a young player.

And I don't know whether they've opened up more than they expected or not here in week 7. It seems to me they run variations of the same plays he likes a lot, and that he makes a ton of big plays being so athletically gifted and playing a lot of sandlot.

That's not a knock, because he's been very productive and that's all that matters. But when the OC comes out and says they're going to limit the offense to keep things simple for him, then they're probably limiting things to keep things simple for him.

My favorite gripe with him as a Cowboys fan was watching those passes thrown so that they came down over the receivers shoulder into his hands so that no one else could swat them away. Those are the passes I remember so well.

A lot of us loved Wentzcoming out of college and thought we should have traded for him. He's proving us right. Unfortunately it's with the Eagles.
