The thing is, he is that good. The best striker in the Premiership this year. Spurs obviously did their homework and got him at a great price (11 million pounds.) The real question is whether they can keep him.

He's way more dynamic than Drogba. That game against Bolton, he didn't score, but many have called it the best performance of the year. As for Henry, I think, on form, Henry is still the best in the Prem. but Berbatov has been better this year, especially when you factor in his performances in European and Cup competitions. He also enjoys nowhere near the support that Drogba or Henry do.
