Has there ever been a WORSE radio announcer than Suzyn Waldman?

She make a radio broadcast unlistenable.

Bad enough she is clueless and her entire contribution is to say things like, "That pitch was thrown at 90MPH." and just reciting stat after stat....or other brilliances like the one that just drove me to shut off the radio "When a pitcher makes a mistake to Sammy Sosa, he hits it"

Really?

BUT...to top it off...she ya have to listen to her annoying Boston accent.

Is their play-by-play man any better? I don't listen to the Yanks on radio, but have often heard highlight clips with this guy. I can't stand his "The Yankees win, theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees win" call. It is one of the lamest things in sports in my opinion.

Is he better? Hmmmmmm....interesting question.

He's got a classic voice...and there are a lot of people who like his routine...when Michael Kay was in the booth with him, I thought they were very good.

I just find it impossible to get passed Ms Waldman.

It's a nice warm sunny afternoon. Perfect for baseball. Ya turn the Yankee station on and....out comes "He's 11-39 this season, with 8 RBI's...oh, he just tried to smack that ball to left field"

The COLOR person should know the sport. That's the entire idea behind having a color person.

Ah whatever....she's signed until 2011.

I guess it's still better than being a Mets fan.

As someone who thought it could never get worse than when the yankees went from wpix 11 to msg in the 90s and I had to deal with stinking trautwig.

She makes trautwig sound and seem good.

I am not a yankees fan anymore, My entire family is and most of my friends. I just root for the rangers cause I live here now. Anyway, SW is awful.

When the yes network came on and msg was gone I was so happy, then she showed up. She is awful, out of place and flat out stupid when it comes to baseball.

THere is nothing in baseball like rizzuto and bill white anymore but Ken singleton and jimm katt were absolutely the best. I dont really care for michael kay one way or the other, he is the biggest homer in all of sports and his act is tiring. Singleton, katt and murcer on the other hand are simply great.

I went to the game tuesday and ken morgan the rangers PA gave a special welcome to bobby murcer, it was great. I was glad to see him up in the booth, he leaned out and tipped his cap and they showed a highlight of him playing on the screen. Nice gesture.

Anyway, sw is the absolute worst.

I agree, Murcer, Katt and Singleton are very good.

Oh and Waldman is horrible beyond words. But she's a George favorite, so, we've only got another five years of her...until she signs a new contract. :bang2: :bang2:
