I think a lot of the complaints about the coaches, QB, receivers are a little disrespectful to the offensive line.

We are obviously underestimating their contribution to the past success of the Cowboys.

It was only two seasons ago that the Cowboys boasted three 1st Team All Pro's on the line.

This means they had the best player in the game at the position of Guard, Center, and Tackle.

Now look at them, their elite members cut down by a rare disease, nagging constant back pain and knee injuries.

The left guard position had a different starter for three years in a row. This season was a rookie who went down and had to be replaced by another guy that got hurt.

If that means nothing then it implies that this line had nothing to do with previous success. It is the real truth behind what is really happening. In two seasons that line went from elite to shambles.

Perhaps Tyron can control the pain, Zack's injury has a quick and fill recovery, and other guys get into sync.

The fact that these issues coincided with the overall decline of the offense should make it clear that it is the line and not the skill players that determines the level of success for a team They set the tone.

That's profound.

Profoundly true. You can’t say the defense has given up 20 or less point for the past three years when they gave up and average of 20.8 in 2017. The point should have been made at 21 points.
