Dak cant win games like Romo and so far Dak isn't losing games like Romo.
Any benching will be temporary. Remember that.Yes he has and lost. One more game like the opener to NY and we'll bench him.
Romo hasn't done that in a long time. He's been brilliant for the past 4-5 seasons.Dak cant win games like Romo and so far Dak isn't losing games like Romo.
Brilliant in the finale against NY in 2011 and brilliant in the finale against Wash in 2012?Romo hasn't done that in a long time. He's been brilliant for the past 4-5 seasons.
I'm actually for putting Romo back in there when he's cleared to play.Any benching will be temporary. Remember that.
We've got our QB for the future, and that's unbelievably awesome.
If Dak (or most anyone) had to play with those horrible rosters, we'd be 0-6 right now.Brilliant in the finale against NY in 2011 and brilliant in the finale against Wash in 2012?
And even in 2011 the 1st game against NY where we could have almost clinched the division. Of course if these fall into your 4-5 seasons.
His brilliance was keeping us in contention but when we were in position to close the deal his magic went dry.
I'm still not sure why we hold these seasons in such high regard?

I have seen enough of the kid to think that isn't true. he is a winner, but I do predict the offense improves with Romo this seasonIf Dak (or most anyone) had to play with those horrible rosters, we'd be 0-6 right now.
C'mon. This discussion requires depth.
It has to be done carefully to protect Romo. If Romo came in and stunk it up his career here would be over. We need to wait until Dak stinks it up.I'm actually not. This has to be done carefully. I don't want to "punish" Dak for a bad outing, but you can't make a move during a winning streak either.
It's a wonderfully complicated situation.
There's actually a very good argument to bring Romo back. He is our starter until otherwise determined. But Jerry is already backpedaling because if Romo came back and struggled he'd have to bench him. This way the pressure is on to Dak to keep the wave going or he brings Romo back in to save the day.I have seen enough of the kid to think that isn't true. he is a winner, but I do predict the offense improves with Romo this season
I don't see it that way. Moves are made for the best interest of the franchise. Romo playing this year will likely be the best move, but I'm not worried about his legacy. If he is a detriment, he gets pulled. It eventually happens to the best of em.It has to be done carefully to protect Romo. If Romo came in and stunk it up his career here would be over. Sorry, I don't trust Jerry's loyalty. He hasn't always made the best decisions for football operations.I don't see it that way. Moves are made for the best interest of the franchise. Let's play ball!
I'm only talking about what we should do. Not sure how what Jerry will do entered into the mix?Sorry, I don't trust Jerry's loyalty. He hasn't always made the best decisions for football operations.
Interestingly enough, no one in this situation is above an in-season QB competition held in practice.I'm actually not. This has to be done carefully. I don't want to "punish" Dak for a bad outing, but you can't make a move during a winning streak either.

Nobody is more excited about Dak than me.I've just been going to bat for all of these proclaimed football idiots who have been mesmerized by the Dak wave. There's a buzz going on in Cowboy nation which doesn't include Romo. Cant blame fans for getting excited. It's not like this Romo era or this Century for that matter has been much to get excited about except for a couple of seasons. Everyone is hungry for more success. Much like the buzz we had early in Romo's career.
But yet you've blasted fans for wanting Dak over Romo?Nobody is more excited about Dak than me.
I'm a season ticket holder, and I was mortified about the post-Romo era. Now I'm not at all. Glory hallelujah!
Getting TDs when we get into the red zone... Something we have struggled at a year despite having the best RBs in the leagueReally appreciate your opinion, but in terms of on the field results, what exactly would we be doing better at?
Yep...I kind of like this 28-0 lead into the fourth quarter stuff without any need to perform a Romonian comeback at the end of the gameDak cant win games like Romo and so far Dak isn't losing games like Romo.
