Nice highlights.

What's so glaring to me however is the lack of 'tough catches' in those highlights. I saw maybe two that can be characterized as such.

Fitz made all his plays when it mattered most. Owens tended to disapear in those situations and then blame everyone else.

Our whole team disappears in those situations and has for quite a few years now regardless of the players on the roster.

But yes, Fitz is clutch.

It still sounds bizarre to hear "Touchdown Cardinals", their flukish season in 2008 was reminiscent of the 1998 Falcons.

That Fitzgerald is something else though, would love to have him in Dallas.

a decent amount of those plays he wasn't what you would consider "open" by NFL standards. but he went up and out-jumped everybody to make the catch. that's what i want to see some of from Roy this season.

Let me know a time when he disappeared, was it against Wash in 07 when he caught all 4 tds or was it against the NY Giants when he caught 5 tds in both games that season.

it always bothered me how TO celebrated his touchdowns with a selfish look at me act.

Even when his teammates tried to get involved in congratulating him he almost always went off and did his own thing separate from them. Always bugged me.
