Doesn't change that he is blazing fast and has some big games this year....

I was just joking around, but I don't consider him a deep threat even though I agree he is blazing fast. He has had two big games this year as a receiver. Even in those two big games he didn't top 100 yards. He has played in 9 games where he averaged less than 8 yards per reception. He is one of the fastest players in the league, but that speed has been easily neutralized by most teams he has faced. He is a fast guy who can't do all the little things that a receiver has to do to be good. Desean Jackson isn't a complete receiver, either, but he uses that one speed dimension far better than Tavon Austin does. That is why Jackson averages 17.6 yards per reception while Austin is only at 9.5 ypr. Austin is a poor deep threat at this point in his career.
