Giants at Cowboys
Tony Romo, who is a big, big deal in Dallas, is a pretty good player. He just doesn’t get rattled, which is impressive. He can have a terrible game and he’ll bounce right back.
Take a look at the Cowboys receivers – they’re pretty talented. They go three, four deep.
Jason Garrett comes in as the new offensive coordinator, but he’s keeping the same running game plan, so it won’t be a big change.
The defense was supposed to be a strong point, and I’m not sure it will be. They didn’t stop the run very well in the exhibition season.
The Giants are on the verge – they’re close to being a very good team. Don’t compare Eli Manning to his brother, Peyton – they’re different people in different situations. But Manning could play well this season. He can make throws downfield and he has another season in this offense.
If the Giants defense can make plays, they’ll be in good shape.
But the Cowboys are poised for an emotional lift and they’ll win.
