Fox Sports has him listed as one of the 3 best picks in the third round, along with Brodie Croyle and Dust Dvoracek.

"Dallas Cowboys: Jason Hatcher, DE, Grambling State: There's no such thing as too much depth on the defensive line, Part 2: Hatcher is a 280-pounder who registered 11 sacks in his senior season. He's still very raw, but he joins Marcus Spears, Greg Ellis, Chris Canty and others in a very deep defensive end rotation in Dallas."
The guy is a good player at a position (DL) that is very important. He could end up being a monster. Actually, he's a whole lot like Marcus Spears. He's a tweener for a 4-3 team... too big for DE and too small for DT. For a 3-4 team, he has perfect size.
Really, the only negative about him is that he played against lesser competition. However, just like you like to see... he dominated the lesser competition that he played against.
Not a "name" player... but a very, very good pick IMO. Plus, he loves to play football and is a hard working, blue collar type. Just the kind of player that Parcells is flooding the roster with.
Dallas is going to be one tough team to play.
