For those who say that old dogs can't learn new tricks

or that JJ/Wade can't change . . . .

When you look back and see the roster and coaching staff changes on this team from just one year:

B Stewart - a lot of people thought Wade would keep him in some capacity due to loyalty.
B Read - o.k. this was a given

TO - Many thought JJ would keep him for 1 more year.
Ellis - A mainstay on the Cowboys defense for quite some time.
Henry - Staff decided to go with the young CBs and cut ties.
R Williams - Perhaps the most difficult cut for JJ this season.

PacMan - This was a given.
Tank - Ditto for Tank.
B Johnson - Mistake keeping him on the roster last year.

By all accounts, this is quite a turnover and roster overhaul of several established veterans. And to top it off, the Cowboys draft 12 rookies.

It seems like a long time since we've slashed so many "established" vets to try to improve the roster in earnest.
