We have excess offensively . Bernadeau , randle , Dunbar, Escobar , maybe Zimmer would want Claiborne ? He's the best DB coach in the business . I have no problem giving up a 3rd or 4th just not both .

I just don't want our offense to be our best defense again. You need a balanced team come playoff time. Since Moore moved on wouldn't we want to keep Claiborne till we see what we would do back there?

Somebody please tell Drunk Jerry to stay away from the phone. Trading for old, expensive running backs is foolishness.

I think we've seen enough of Claiborne at least I have. If we get peterson it would allow us to go full defense in draft . If not we're going to take an RB in the 1st 3 rounds anyways . See it evens out ?

Would you rather get peterson for a 3rd or draft an RB in the 3rd ?

I figured we would go RB at 27. Not a draft guy just reading the guys that I think are. I am for going younger at RB not older.

No thanks. i do not want the cowboys to give up a 2nd round pick for a 30 year old RB who has not played in almost a year. McFadden can get the job done. the big problem with this team is it's defense. and the fact that Jerry and his son have done nothing in Free-Agency to try and help it all the focus has been on keeping Murray, and now getting AP. when nothing has been done to help this no good defense.

So what would you have done in free agency to help the defense? Did you see the money scrubs like Graham and Trent Cole made in free agency?
I keep hearing how we need to forget offense because our defense is awful. I'm just not hearing many solutions to the defense. Hardy? Doesn't seem to be happening regardless of Peterson.

Has it occurred to everyone that the salaries are going to keep rising not falling. The cap has gone from 123m to 143m in 2 years and is expected to hit 160m by 2017. Teams also have a floor of 89% they must exceed. Dallas is actually well below the floor at 84%. Unless rosters are expanded the salaries are going to continue to increase.

Cowboy Vic...I might have you confused with someone else...and if I do, I am sorry. But I am thinking that you were one of the biggest supporters of getting Murray signed. If you were, then how can you complain now about Jerry focusing so much on signing him?

They supposedly made room over the last couple day.

They restructured Palmer and have 16m at the moment. The could get another 10m from their Peterson.

Adrian could also do what McCoy did and re-write his deal to guarantee more money and free up some cap space.

Even with AD and McFadden, Cowboys will pick up another RB in a draft deep at RB.
