Like Jerry or not the man knows how to make money.
The Dallas Cowboys are the NFL’s most valuable team for the seventh straight year, according to Forbes’ annual team valuations. The Cowboys are worth $2.3 billion, outpacing the Patriots ($1.8 billion) and Commanders ($1.7 billion) for the top spot.

According to the report, NFL franchises are, on average, worth $1.17 billion, a 5 percent increase from last year. That value tops the average values of the top 20 soccer teams in the world ($968 million), the 30 Major League Baseball teams ($744 million), the 30 NBA teams ($509 million) and the 30 NHL teams ($282 million).

Forbes’ Mike Ozanian writes that the increase in average value comes mostly from a 3.6-percent increase in revenue. The Cowboys topped the league with $539 million in revenue last year.

they should be case study on effective marketing to the end of time because I am aware of no other entity who has largely had disappointing product for extended period of time and dramatically increased their net worth. Its amazing really. Sign me up for Jerry Jones marketing podcast.

"$2.3 billion, .. are most valuable NFL team"

"Are America's Team"

None of which has anything to do with winning, .. which is the ONLY thing I care about.

I'm screwed.

The article said the Lions have lost money for 4 years in a row. The city is bankrupt. I wonder if they'll be relocating?

To where??? LA? or Canada?

LA probably. It makes sense. A team losing money. A city that's major claim to fame these days is that it's bankrupt. If the Detroit people have no jobs they sure aren't going to be able to go see the Lions.

I actually think it's awful for any city to lose their team. Just a thought. I've never read anywhere a thing about the Lions relocating. It's always the Jags or Chargers I read about.

Lions just built that huge new stadium, and from what Ive noticed, it seems like they fill it. Im surprised that they are losing money, but I dont see them relocating any time soon.

I think their stadium is 10 or more years old. I dunno..I'm too lazy to look it up.

But a city that is bankrupt with a team losing money several years in a row now doesn't add up to a healthy situation.

The NFL makes noise all the time about an LA team & they're still waiting so who knows?

LA would surely love a team that wins and the Lions would present them a shot to bring home a Lombardi in the next few years.

LA makes more sense to me than moving a team to London which somebody told me the NFL wanted to do.

I hope that is not true.
