When it comes to dress code, the Dallas Cowboys don't mess around.

There are reports stating that the Cowboys cut running back Christine Michael and cornerback Corey White for not wearing suits on the team’s road trip to Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers Nov. 15.

White confirmed the report, according to the Dallas Morning News:

Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Corey White told TMZ.com he was, in fact, cut for not wearing a suit in the team's road trip to Tampa Bay last weekend.

White told the website he wore "slacks and a button down," but that doesn't adhere to the team's dress code for road trips. A Cowboys coach told White he was cut because the cornerback wasn't wearing a suit, White reportedly told TMZ.com.

"I'm not angry," White reportedly said. " ... It's the rules."

Bummer, but rules are rules. If you work at Burger King they even have a dress code. I liked Corey White. He should have wore a hoodie.

Man, slacks and a button-down aren't enough? Someone needs to buy that dude a blazer.

No, when the policy is to wear a suit, slacks and a button down aren't enough. When the policy is to wear a collared shirt, a t-shirt is not enough. When the policy is to wear pants, shorts are not enough.

No, someone doesn't need to buy that dude a blazer. Someone needs to buy that dude a clue.

The simple mind will look at it that way. They cut me for not wearing a suit.

This is the genius of the rule. No. You weren't cut for not wearing a suit. You were cut for failing to adhere to the rules set by your head coach. That's all that dress code is about. Show me the guys who won't fall in line. I don't want them here.

I can see it now

Vehicular manslaughter OK
Domestic Violence OK
Shoplifting and weed OK

Dress code violation FIRED

Calvin: Coach, can I have a word with you?

Garrett: What is it, Calvin? What's going on?

Calvin: Coach, it's Hardy. He got into another incident last night.

Garrett: What was he wearing? Just hit me with it.

In the end he was just not good enough or no shoes, no shirt would still have been on the team.

well, make a few pro bowls, win some super bowls. then maybe people look the other way becuase youre running around shirtless with no shoes on.

(pretty much my entire childhood summers)

dont make routine 6 yard run, and wave your hands like you actually did something....im glad that dude is gone.
