Wasn't this guy a top 10 pick or is that a different Fisher?

That was my initial thought also but that was Eric Fisher #1 overall in 2013.

This guy is Jake Fisher a 2nd round pick in 2015.

If he was only 305 as an OT as reported in the story and has been in the NFL since 2015 then I can see why he wants to play TE at 285. He probably struggled just to maintain the 305.

He played TE in High School and in the draft was considered an athletic OT that lacked bulk/power.

Did people mention Rico??? Pffffft

Now that Swaim has taken his talent to the jags (irony), he must be excited to catch from Foles.....but, who knows??? How many roster spots do we normally have at TE?
Do not we dedicate about 5 bodies to play TE?

About 10% of the roster.

Good investment of roster building.

Totally -- I'd say any drink that gives you such visions should be well worth the investment. :muttley:
Back in my young and reckless days..

About 22..

I went from Spring Break at SMU to south Florida to visit my parents.

Decided to go to Key West.

Got down there after a 5 hr drive and went downtown where the action was.

Walked into a bar and told the bartender what I wanted.

He said where you from and told him.

Told him I was beat and needed to find a place to stay.

He said what most first time visitors do is stay out all night and watch the Sunrise at the beach.

He said he has a drink that he called Key West Sunrise and would do the trick.

I said..sure.

I drank it and asked him what it was.

He said a tequila sunrise with a hit of mescaline in it.

Said I would not sleep for 12 hours.

I laughed and said..sure, right.

I saw the sunrise with a bunch of other drunk souls that morning.

Key West is a different place.

Good story -- never been there but I'll likely think about you and this tale if I ever have occasion to go there! ;)

It's a great place.

It's like being out of the US.

You are only 90 miles from Cuba.

The drive down is as nice a drive as there is.

You go over long 2 lane bridges from island to island all the way down.

The water is turquoise blue and green..very pretty.

Key West is a fun place, fishing, food, Hemingway House, Mallory Square.

The strangest thing is all the bars are open all night.

At midnight, all the straight customers leave and all the hay people hit the bars and the party really rocks.

I'm awfully straight and I thought I was going to be turned off by that...but they are easy people to like.

No problem.

Key West has tried several times to succeed from the US be their own country.

Very different place.

Nice.

Back when I had a construction company in West Palm Beach..

I took a job down in Key West for a contractor buddy who needed help.

I took my crew of about 8 guys and we stayed about a week.

The contractor wanted to get done quick and get paid by his owner.

So I said OK but needed more labor to speed things up.

He put the word out and next morning I had about 10 women waiting for us at the site.

They were all babes, bar tenders and waitresses from the restaurants.

My guys loved it..only problem was..all gay.

I paired each guy with a helper and we got done in 2 days.

We had a blast.

Then we partied with them at night and saw that side of Key West which was doubly fun.

A couple of my guys ended up back at the hotel rooms with some girls and we had lots to talk about once we got home.

The contractor gave me my check when we left and all was great.

I will always have fun memories of that place.

Those guys are lucky with timeshares.

Jealous.

Man,,,ya know what, fiery orb of rapid sky travel ,my Brother? ,,, I'd of prolly tried to befriend that bartender, and a good start would've been like leaving a $20 "kicker tip" left laying on the bar where you was sitting, as, well,,, he'd be a somewhat valuable kind of friend to have an alliance with, as think about it,,,? Just from a mere wink& a nod from you, he'd be doctoring up that drink to the smoking hot blond chick yer' on the prod fer' with Quaaludes& set her big surfer dude boyfriend up with a hemlock hi ball ,,,er,,, ya know, no problem from him,,,evero_O

Way cool,my man& I'm feeling privileged that you shared that with me (us, in forum fellowship)
But,,,er,,,about those two previously mentioned dudes sharing that timeshare? Well, the skinny is they both go down there at the same time together & hardly venture from the abode,,,,,,pretty strange really, if not downright odd, all things being considered,ya knowo_O

dont sniff like @Corso now...
Ya both ought to know by now already, that @Corso is 42 laps ahead of you both in the categories of calculated intellect & capabilities of classy composed prose, don't ya?,,,and while it's obvious yer' combined sewer rat-brained like scheming plan to bolster yer' lame& beyond impedient efforted forces to even remain standing in the ring with me past round #2 of this verbal fray
( and while he runs a bit thicker of an eggshell veneer casing-liner as say compared to the permanently fractured&shattered casingliner shell @dallasdave of lame suffers from after he felt froggy , yer' pursued "prospect" won't make it past round #3 tangling with me,as I already know which fuzz up launch buttons to push with him:lmao:)
