Former RB Coach, Anthony Lynn, with incredible story about Jerry Jones the person

Two sides to every story.

Did his wife leave him? Or did she stay by his side throughout all the infidelity? Seems like they had an understanding of sorts. If you're judging Jerry for that, you'd better judge his wife just as harshly for sticking around.

LOL, he countersued the daughter who sued him first because she wanted more than the millions he had already paid her mother. A grown woman saying, "Support me financially, Daddy who I never had a relationship with yet who still paid my Mommy millions of dollars to support me!" Interesting how you left that out.
Judging the wife for staying with someone who cheated on her is an interesting take…

The daughter just wanted Jerry to acknowledge her. He denied her so she sued.

If only Jerry Jones the person would have the guts to fire Jerry Jones the GM I would appreciate that more. Along with Stephen and his incompetent arse. And hire a REAL GM and President of football operations.
The REAL GM are the people that work under Stephen and Jerry. Jerry doesn’t do day to day work and hasn’t for years. He’s called in for the big decisions.

Do you think he or Stephen had ever heard of Brevyn Spann Ford last year before they signed him?

McClay handles all things draft and Stephen somewhat manages the cap but it’s the people underneath that do the day to day negotiations with the agents.

Jerry gives the ok to approve that contract number or if there’s a tie on which draft pick to go with. He gives the coaches a lot of leeway to run things as they want until they don’t get results then he and Stephen feel the need to step in even though they don’t do much day to day.

my guess is Jerry and wife each had an unspoken understanding from day 1. She probably has her "side ventures" just as he did or does. Many married couples do this when they reside in that particular tax bracket lol. The marriage might be in large part a business arrangement at this juncture. It may not have begun as such, but as things went by they might have agreed to do their own thing but to legally remain married. It happens all the time. The thing with the daughter and love interest is gross and seedy, but again, really common in that sphere.

I think the culture ON the field , in practice, the way we train, and the way the players conduct themselves is the culture being changed. No one has ever doubted that Jerry cares about his players and staff. Those are two separate things.
if we dont win, you will say the culture sucks. If we win (NFC title game or better) you will say the culture has changed for the better.. Ultimately, if you arent there on a day to day basis, you havent a clue what the culture actually is.

Is it possible to have a crappy culture and still win? Ask the 1977 Yankees. The manager and Reggie Jackson hated each other.
Is it possible to have a great culture and be a crappy team? Let me know when you have examples of this.

LOL, the point is you have no clue about their relationship and what Jerry's wife finds acceptable or not.

She obviously didn't find his cheating to be a deal-breaker at all, so who are YOU to slam Jerry for it?

Ever hear of an "open relationship" or "swinging" or "polyamorous" relationships? That's not my lifestyle but maybe it's theirs. The point is, we don't know so we can't judge.

The daughter sued because she wanted more money from a billionaire, but what an adorable attempt at virtue signaling regardless!

You think every man that cheats and the wife stays is because they have an understanding? As someone whose parents were in that situation, wives stay for the kids. Not because they condone cheating or are swingers.

I didn't say "every man", I literally said I DON'T KNOW.

Why are you pretending you know the inner workings of this specific relationship?

My dad cheated too, what does that have to do with anything? Doesn't make either of us an expert on how every single marriage operates. We don't know these people.

yea, Jethro and Gene are swingers. Lol

She sued because she wanted the name recognition. I guess you didn’t hear it all begun when as a US Congressman aide she needed security background clearance for White House.

Part of that is naming your parents. When she named Jethro as her father the FBI said that hadn’t been established. All she wanted , as she claims, was acknowledgement. The rest is mere speculation she wants more.

It’s not that usual for very wealthy women to tolerate their husbands infidelity especially in their generation.

I’d have to believe there are many if not most teams think they have a good or at least good enough culture to have some success.

That culture doesn’t usually begin to break down until the success doesn’t come and dissension can unfold .

In the end the team culture or camaraderie doesn’t carry much weight without success.

If this team has more success then perhaps we can look back and say the culture early on was a factor. If not , nobody will care.

You have no clue about the nature of their relationship. None.

That is not up for debate.

Internet know-it-alls are the best.

I don't think it's as unusual as you think, especially when the man is a powerful, famous billionaire.

It's entirely possible that Gene knows about Jerry fooling around but has chosen to keep her head in the sand, because that's the more convenient path for her. Don't ask, don't tell. That's an example of an "understanding" the 2 of them could possibly have.

Either way, neither of us know for sure, so neither of us are in a position to pass judgment. Simple.

I means to say not unusual. Type o. Sorry

No, but we can arrive at some reasonable assertions based on what we have known in public for 35 years.

And I’d be willing to wager much that they aren’t Swingers or have an open relationship.

What have they shown in public that leads you to believe that Gene certainly doesn't allow for Jerry to sleep with other women?

Also, Gene being passively okay with it counts as permission.

No, not permission but tolerance.
