Former RB Coach, Anthony Lynn, with incredible story about Jerry Jones the person

I agree with you totally that he really wants to win.I believe he does want to win.But Ol Jerry is slow as a big turtle when it comes to making big time decisions for this organization.Contracts not getting done in a timely fashion is killing this once Storied Franchise financially. You could argue if the Parsons deal could have been done earlier more money could be saved and used to add more talent to this football team. That would be the doings of a good GM and would give positive vibes to the team coaches and fans.I am not being negative, I am not mad in any shape or form.It is just how I see it.As I said in an earlier post however Ol Jerry is doing quite a bit better at letting Will McClay and the Scouts and the Coaching Staff make decisions and there lies the improvement. It is time to win I want Dallas to win.
I’m not a big fan of Jerry the GM. He even said he should fire himself at one point.

Although this probably helped his rep lol…
I'd rather my daughter be caught with a horse than with Jerry.

You're more worried about Jerry's "behavior" (sex life) outside of his bedroom... than his wife is.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Total. Weirdo.

Why do you think an internet poster cares more than his wife? There you go assuming things again. Do you know they haven’t gone to counseling? Do you know she doesn’t cry herself to sleep every night? Some people can’t leave a situation no matter how much they hate it because of fear of the other side.

The reports of Jerry with airplane stewardesses 50 years younger than him are vile. But if you think those things are ok then go for it.

By the way there are other things that make Jerry a bad human:
- signing a known domestic violence offender (Greg Hardy) when no one else would touch him (that’s my biggest one besides suing his own daughter who wanted him to acknowledge her)

- threatening radio hosts’ jobs he has no control over because he didn’t like their questions

You said you didn’t care about Jerry and Gene in post #213. So what is it, you do or you don’t as we’re confused.
Perhaps you have misinterpreted.

Here’s the post from #213
“ Im not interested in what Jethro and Gene are doing in their bedroom. My issues are with what he’s doing outside of it .“

What needs clarifying for you?
My issues are with his indiscretions and alleged infidelities including his illegitimate daughter.

Your response was if Gene is tolerating his behavior then we should be too.

If you’re ok with it that’s fine . But I’m certainly entitled to call out our scumbags owners behavior. If you want to defend it or look the other way , go right ahead. Dont expect me to go away. But I appreciate you keeping this at top of page .

That’s good to hear.

Problem with Jethro the owner is he won’t fire the GM which makes him a bad owner.

My wife says “ you’re either part of the solution or part of the problem”.

I don’t even know why there are this many posts about who the owner is sleeping with or not. Who cares? I care about the on field results. I care about his job as the owner. What he does in his bedroom is none of our business. Period.

LOLLLLL I'm the one "making assumptions" now??? You can't be serious.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

You're the dorks who already judged him as a terrible husband who's hurting poor Gene with his infidelity.

All I ever said was we don't know the inner workings of their marriage so we can't judge that aspect.

All we know about Gene is that she has stood by Jerry's side. Her public stance is that she loves her husband and loves her life. We can't assume anything to the contrary without knowing these people personally, which we don't.

Don't try to backtrack off your moral high horse now.

OoooOOOoooh, he signed Greg Hardy!? Did you boycott those games in which Hardy played in?

No?

Great!!

So can I conclude that you're a terrible person who looks the other way when a domestic abuser plays for his favorite football team?

Hey, this judgment of total strangers thing is fun!!!
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

We can call out and make judgements on celebrities and the entity they are a part of .

We don’t have to approve or support all of the moving pieces to support the sum.

And that applies to the Cowboys as well. I’ve called out players off field behavior as well as our owner. And still support the Cowboys.

Actually I didn’t watch cowboys games that 2015 season. I have other things to do than support felons throwing women downstairs.

This notion we can’t provide critical thinking is really elementary bordering on juvenile. Maybe it’s just ignorance?

But I shouldn’t be surprised in today’s culture where if you’re not totally on board with all aspects however criminal or generally unacceptable and against most morales is becoming cult like.

Just because you hold someone’s hand in the hospital at 2 a.m. doesn’t mean you know how to build a championship football team. He’s had 30 years to prove himself without Jimmy and hasn’t even come close. As Jerry himself says, he bought himself an occupation – that doesn’t mean he’s any good at it.
Neither has Jimmy Johnson. He moved on to Miami Dolphin and quit being an NFL head coach/GM there going on 5 years with mixed results. Both Jerry and Jimmy working together led to our team's great success including Super Bowl wins in the 90s. And it was a lot easier to build a dominant team back then because of no salary cap and limited free agency.
