His mom hinted at this last week around these parts...
She said after he asked Rodriguez his role in his system Rodriguez told him "You can stay if you want"...I don't blame him as he would ride the rock in that offense...
He's got a lot of upside, a rifle arm and is a good kid...

JustSayNotoTO;1889627 said:Michigan never hurts for WR's.
ConcordCowboy;1889616 said:Well that certainly would make you want to stay.

And we will see how much those michigan WRs come into play with rod.

I don't blame Rodriguez... he has to get his guys in place, but Mallet is a legitimate talent...
Tressel should hit him up... wouldn't THAT flame the rivalry even more...

JustSayNotoTO;1889952 said:Thats funny, the kid diddnt even bother calling RRod back.
"I did it a couple times (with Mallett)," he said earlier Tuesday on the Jim Rome radio show. "I recruited him once, I recruited him twice, and after the third call, I'm thinking, 'OK, three calls is enough for me.' It's a great institution, and if somebody doesn't want to be here that's already here, you wish them well and move on."
Mallet has already been through this transfer drama last year. If he doesnt want to commit, screw him.

He inherited a great Colardo program and ran it into the ground once it joined the Big 12 and this was when the only team he had to worry about was Nebraska since OU and Texas sucked at the time. He then had a great 11-1 season at Washington but then made that program worse b going 7-6 in his final year. He didn't do anything for the Ravens this past year. He is always a prospect because of the hype he has built since he was at Colorado and his career as an athlete. He was just a young coordinator and ex-UCLA QB so a lot of people WANTED to like Rick Neuheisel back then and the hype machine continued. He won't svck at UCLA but he is won't do anything to warrant his hype there either. He is above average coach that is talked about as if he is the second coming of Pete Caroll.
