Bradshaw doing highlights..

Bradshaw: Cowboys played the best I've seen in a long time. Said Wade removed doubts about Wade's ability to coach up the team. Very impressive.

Long: Jumped on Saints right away against a depleted defense. Said something about the Saints offense not playing well.

Strahan: Committed to being physical

Johnson: Very methodical in taking the ball down the field. Didn't commit any turnovers.

Johnson on Folk: It's time to get a new kicker. Talked about a story where he cut a kicker the next day after the kicker said he didn't have any confidence.

Argh, I wanted to see what they said and I missed it. :(
It was a very quick segment.. Maybe 2 mins max.

They were talking so fast, I couldn't even get everything down.

Glazer just said Wash wants Shanny bad but that Shanny wants the Dallas job.

He said Synder asked John Lynch about Shanny in front of Zorn. :laugh2:

Yeah, they aren't too big on games they didn't carry, I guess.

Thanks for the cap, though. :)

He also said that he doesn't think Dallas has ANY interest in Shanahan.

Strahan also said we have to play the Eagles in December, apparently Michael can't read a calendar.

laufenberg did an interview with jerry on the field before the game last night on a local pregame show. Laufenberg asked jerry right out do you think jason is a head coach in this league...jerry almost stopped him mid sentence his eyes lit up and he looked at him and said there is no question....He is learning as he goes, but he is a head coach.

So everyone needs to forget the head coaching stuff. Its Garrett and I suspect it always has been.

I will put the interview up this week when I get a chance to go through all that stuff.

and dont kill me for posting this but.

Laufenberg while doing the pregame said that he thinks Dallas would be crazy to not hire Jason Garrett and he is concerned that he will get away. Laufenberg said Jason reminds him of Bill Walsh and that he is one of the brightest people he has ever been around.

He said the bengals made that mistake with walsh and hired Tiger Johnson over him and walsh took his offensive mind to sf..

Now I know laufenberg is a personal friend of jason's, but laufenberg really wouldnt say that if he didnt believe and he spent some time around walsh.

wow....great info. theebs. I like and respect Babe as alot of people do, so I'll defer to him and Jerry: no choice. I've been frustrated mightily with Red as others have, but his plan was executed to perfection last night. We'll see....we need one more win and it won't be easy obviously.

PS-info. on Snyder is priceless....what a classic billionaire boob he is. I think Shanny likes Jerry better and he CERTAINLY likes Romo better than Campbell so...yeah, I do believe that......

Of course, because Jimmy was a real coach with real authority. Folk would have been out of here three weeks ago with Jimmy. As he should have been.

That's interesting and I'm coming around to that myself. I think his personality and his demeanor and his toughness and mind would make for a better head coach then just an offensive coordinator. If he can improve his decision making, he can be successful.

Not Cowboys related, but LMAO at Jimmy pulling out the oversized fork for the Steelers... "I will unleash Hell with this fork!"

Lin Elliott, after week 2 of the 1993 season. Coming off the 13-10 loss to the Bills to start off 0-2.

I love Jimmy Johnson, all his stories revolve around cutting players.

Fear of job security is always a great motivational tool, he always kept players on their toes and fighting for their jobs.

Anyone think Roy Williams would still be starting if Jimmy was here?

Hmmmm... Jimmy had a different set of rules for stars, but you may have it right - he sure as hell wouldn't cut him (that's stupid for 6346 reasons), but he sure might have had him sit out at least a series minimum.

He could, and Jerry could do that back then. No salary cap to worry about. If they cut Folk, and brought in a new K, it has salary cap implications. Obviously, the haven't tried using Buehler for a reason.

I thought they should have let him try a FG.

Kristie scales said David Buehler was injured during the game and was getting treatment. he is fine and he continued to kick off, but during the game he was banged up.

Not sure if many noticed, but joe decamillis changed our kick return teams last night to all small guys. He had buehler out there playing one of the wedge spots!!
