Rob Rang is pretty good........interesting nugget (s)
* Jeanty goes 7th to Titans ( don't see this as all with Pollard under contract )
* Nick Scourton 6th to Jets
* Burden is the first WR off the board to the Cowboys at 12
* Tmac goes to Bucs at 19
* Seems some Beck stink is rubbing off on Cam Ward ( he goes top Steelers at 27 )

I have read a couple of nuggets some teams may like Burden over Tmac

I agree that Jeanty will not get out of the top 10 but the Cowboys are not picking a wide receiver with Walker/Harmon still on the board.

Just trade back since we're not high enough
Interestingly a lot can change between now and draft day..........players moving into 10-15 and vice versa, players moving out. I mean there could be some like Gabriel ( ms ) over Cam Ward by draft day.

I believe Burden will be on their short list come draft night.

I just don’t see it with Burden. He is not big or that fast. I wouldn’t waste a top 15 pick on him. At best he could be Zay Flowers. That would be a colossal mistake. I would take McMillan over him and I don’t like him either.

Burden is a modern receiver who makes his living with the run after catch. He reminds me of DJ Moore. Have him and Lamb and you have two who excel in getting that hidden yardage. T-Mac is a total different type of receiver, huge catch radius, kind of like Mike Evans. A true #1 WR on the next level.

The impression I'm getting from a couple of nuggets ( you mentioned in another thread ), after Hunter, there isn't the best player 2-10. Selections after Hunter could be positional needs than BPA. For example, we would love to get our hands on Graham but he a luxury pick for Giants, Titans and Jets to name a few.

If you believe Rob Rang, he has only 1 QB in his top 20........so that means Giants or Raiders will trade down, overdraft or look for their starter via trade or free agency.

If you are going to draft a receiver in the top 15. He better have all-pro potential. Burden is not it. You are talking about drafting the kid before Lamb was drafted. Is he ODB? This draft sucks man. What a poor draft to get a high choice. You think the Cowboys would take two receivers in their first 4 picks?

I disagree, the top 2 receivers are legit, after them there is a big gap.

Still believe Sanders/Ward will be the top 2 picks, whomever drafts them. Drafting in the top 10, is different then having a later pick. Teams usually will draft best player over positional need and worry about the fit later.

You ignored my whole point. Burden is not an all pro talent and I hope if the Cowboys do draft him you guys won’t complain about his 4 targets a game.

Notable case with Jerry: 0 D-lineman taken before pick 20 in the last 30+ years. He much prefers flashy skill position players and Olineman there

Mazi is also the only DT he’s taken in the first round in 30+ years, and one of only 3 Dlineman total he’s taken in the first round this century. For whatever reason that’s just not his thing

Howie doesn’t take linebackers, and Jerry doesn’t take DT’s (aside from the 1 guy who may give him buyers remorse even more)

 Exactly ........I mean we as fans talk all day about our favorite targets but at the end of the day, their draft history will tell you quite a bit. Fans have every right to disagree but it's still Jerry's draft.

As stated in another thread ......I don't see them passing on top 2 WRS, Jeanty or maybe even Johnson, especially drafting inside 12.
