So you think it’s going to be easy to find a QB that’s better than Dak in the playoffs with Jerry who doesn’t know how to build a team? Dak isn’t the problem just like Romo wasn’t. We’re seeing the same problems with the team we saw under our last two QBs.Wow ....... you do not comprehend what people say ....... you are just looking to score "internet" points.
Dak is not good in the playoffs ....... and Jerry does not know how to build a team ........ until Jerry and Dak are gone, nothing is gonna change.
Sadly that is true; like Romo he will leave and as long as Jethro is running things; and frankly I think even when Little Enos is running things nothing else will changeI say
80% Jerry
10% Dak
10% the Defense
Dak is just the easiest to replace.
I was not aware you had any knowledge to dispute my knowledgeThanks for exposing your lack of knowledge.
Many will disagree with Dak as the top 10, and I wouldn't argue, but I think the OP is giving him a pass for the 2024 season, excluding the playoffs. I think he's assuming a healthy Dak, alone, could return to 2023 form with Pickens' addition.
Hornable mentions........Stafford, Purdy, Love, Stroud, Murray, and Nix
Could not disagree with you more. It’s not this impossible task that you make it out to be. Do some teams screw up that process of finding the next QB? Yes, we’ve all seen it. But some don’t.Sorry, but he’s going to be the hardest to replace. To come up with a QB better than him is going to be very difficult whether you want to admit it or not. If he actually sucked like some of you spin, then it would be easy to improve on him. You’re not going to easily improve on a top 10 QB. If he was the easiest to replace he wouldn’t have been re-signed. Any solid QB isn’t going to be easy to replace. Look around the league with some of the teams playing musical chairs at QB. That’s a recipe for losing.
About what? Thats completely unrelated to anything i saidyou wrong
Never said it was impossible, but it’s very difficult to replace a franchise QB. The Cowboys went through it during the early 2000s. Not sure how long you’ve been following the NFL but it’s a real challenge trying to come up with a consistent QB. Just look at what the Steelers Jets and Giants are going through right now. Look at the difficulty Cleveland has had coming up with a franchise QB. They haven’t had a solid QB since the days of Bernie Kozar. Teams screw up drafting QBs all the time because it’s very difficult to evaluate if a college QBs game will translate to the NFL.Could not disagree with you more. But I would argue that having a rookie quarterback, on a rookie contract… It is easier to build a more complete team, even if he’s a little bit of a lessor QB (in the beginning) than the own you have now. This current version of Dak, at his current salary, is a much larger obstacle to overcome.
I was responding to his assertion that he is not required to bow down to my opinionHe’s right, Hurts does have a much better team around him than Mahomes, and that was proven in the Super Bowl. If it wasn’t for Mahomes, the Chiefs wouldn’t have gotten to any of the last three Super Bowls. I’ll go as far as to say they would still be looking for their first Super Bowl win since Len Dawson if it wasn’t for Mahomes. He’s clearly been the difference for the Chiefs.
I thought Hurts out played him in the Super Bowl a few years ago but Mahomes is able to pull rabbits out of his hat. This was why the Chiefs kept winning. All the Super Bowl wins the Chiefs have had with Mahomes went down to the wire and he pulled the games out. The Super Bowls they’ve lost, Mahomes got contained and KC got hammered.
seattle? But he was also IN the Superbowl.
Dak can only get out of the first round if the other team has a losing record coming in the playoffs.
Sorry I should be stoned for talking this way about our chosen one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>.> how dare you under-praise Dak. He's a god king, not a king...
Dak is the Marty Schottenheimer-like player of our time. Always a bridesmaid, never at the altar of the playoffs.Honestly, it doesn't matter. You can rank him anywhere on the scale. It won't take away from the reality that Dak Prescott sucks as a QB.
Marty Shottenheimer was considered a great coach.Dak is the Marty Schottenheimer-like player of our time. Always a bridesmaid, never at the altar of the playoffs.
As Sgt Stedenko would say, "Only dopes do dope."Sorry I should be stoned for talking this way about our chosen one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He must of gotten lots of Super Bowl bling to pass on to Junior.Marty Shottenheimer was considered a great coach.
Hey, fella, 2 playoff wins in 10 years is nothing at which to sneeze!Judging by the honorable mentions, I am convinced that networks are pressured to put a Cowboys QB in the top 10 just for engagement purposes.
That's why you no skills Dak at 10 with 4 other QBs who are clearly better than him as honorable mentions.
By whom?Marty Shottenheimer was considered a great coach.

5 decades…Ron Jaworski was the QB when I became a fan.Never said it was impossible, but it’s very difficult to replace a franchise QB. The Cowboys went through it during the early 2000s. This is why we see so many top QBs go bust. Teams get so desperate for a franchise QB they have to reach for them in the draft. You’re not going to be able to build a complete team if your rookie QB struggles and turns out not to be any good. Hard to build a complete team when you’re burning premium draft picks trying to find a QB.
