It’s draft time! We’ve had our experts tell you who will be drafted where, but now it’s time for you to throw on your GM cap and decide for yourself. Each day we will present an argument for each player and why the respective team should pick him. Then, it’s up to you. You make the pick. The next day, we will compile the results and you can see who is off the board. Disagree with all of the options? Be sure to write in your pick below in the comments section. OK, let’s get into it. The Dallas Cowboys are on the clock.

The Cowboys’ first priority this offseason was getting the team under the salary cap. That included departures by notable veterans such as defensive end DeMarcus Ware and wide receiver Miles Austin. Now that Dallas is set for the NFL draft, the team must determine where it needs to improve most.

Since 2009, the Cowboys haven’t had a winning season. Last year they gave up a league-worst 415 yards a game on defense. It’s important that they address some holes in the defense, as they couldn’t rush the passer consistently or stop the run when necessary.

So whom should the Cowboys select with the No. 16 overall pick?

Unless I'm missing something, that looks like a Zack martin or trade down scenario.

I'm trading down to NE because they'll sell the farm for Ebron to jump in front of Baltimore.

New England never sells the farm. I think at most they will give up a 3rd, just like SF did last year.

No kidding. New England isn't the poor dirt farmer trying to sell the farm ever. They are the Snydely Whiplash of this scenario, complete with the curly mustache, coming to foreclose. You may depend on that.

Why do people always want to trade with NE when they rarely trade up and if they do are likely only going to do it if they get a bargain trade.

I agree. Trading with NE and coming out, even kinda even, is like pushing water up hill.

i disagree. in the right situation anybody will make a deal. in the past new England was always in a very strong position, deep roster, young stars etc. the roster has been thinning out over the last couple of years.

if the draft fell this way i think you have the very interested New England.
1. Brady's window is closing.
2. biggest wont
3. no way Ebron gets by the Ravens.

Speaking of New England.
It won't shock me at all if they take a QB anytime after rd 1.
