It's actually the Bears, who have won 57.1% of their regular season games in franchise history. The Cowboys are in second place with 56.9%, a difference of 5 games, the Packers in 3rd place with down 8 games.

The Cowboys and Bears have been trading places for the past 6 seasons. Just when it looked like the Cowboys would pull away 2010 happened. The Cowboys regained the lead for a very short time in 2014, but 2015 took care of that.

The Bucs in last place with 38.5% followed by the Cardinals with 42.5%. Other historical losers include the EaglesI at 48.6%. Giants are at 54.3%, Commanders at 50.5%.

Surprised at the Bears. They've been more bad than good for the past 25 years -- or at least it seems that way.

57% is pretty much exactly 9-7, not too hard to maintain that pace in today's NFL.

Go from 1960 and these numbers change quite a bit I believe.
GB & Chicago get bumped up from their early years when other teams didn't compete as much.
Yes it is history and can't take that away from them.

But from 1960 on when many new teams, including the AFL started up, it provides a complete new list of stats and has an impact on many things.

For years it was Dallas, Oakland, and Miami swapping for the best W/L%. I am pretty sure Dallas is still up there near #1 if not #1.

The Bears were awful for most of the 70's. Sayers and Butkus were done, and Concannon and Douglass werent taking them anywhere.

Actually, it took almost two decades for other teams to catch up with the Browns who dominated almost from the first day they existed.

25 winning seasons in their first 27 years.
