Frank Gore just signed a 4 year, $34 million deal with $20 million of that guaranteed. Murray's price just went up significantly....

Well, Frank Gore for sure has not signed anything. Maybe tomorrow >4pm est.:D

But yeah, It didn't hurt Murray even if it did eliminate maybe his top suitor.

I don't buy the terms of this deal anyway.

It looks like the Jags are the only team that will pony up that kind of dough for Murray.

is it possible that really all that it is, is a two year deal.

Is it just me, is that a lot of guaranteed money for a 31 year old running back in today's NFL? I honestly don't know, I don't keep up with salary numbers that well.

He has been relatively healthy but he does have history of being nicked up. He is meant to be the lead back in RBBC setup which I do not think Indy has. He is at his best consistency wise during the season with 15-17 carries a game.

At that age though.......and the fact that he has been healthy up to this point is even more reason to worry.

That is a lot of money and too much for Gore.

Wait. How did he go from a 2 year 7 million dollar deal to that? And why on earth wouldn't the Colts just throw that at Demarco?

Maybe because Murray told them that he will stay in Dallas?

I feel like NFL teams have gone completely bonkers with RB pay this offseason. I like Murray, but for that coin I'd rather the Cowboys bring in some DL, and just draft a runner in the second.
