I'd like to state for the record that on multiple occasions on DallasCowboys.com game day threads that Buffalo and Jaxonvil are the two cities most in danger of losing their franchises in the next 5-10 years. The broadcast MNF game we had against Buffalo, it was mentioned that the family couldn't afford the inheritance tax of NY and the team would be for sale after Ralph Wilson passes.

what kind of **** is that?

Since you asked....

http://www.money-zine.com/Financial-Planning/Tax-Shelter/Federal-Inheritance-Tax/

Also, from RetirementLiving.com:

Seventeen states and the District of Columbia have retained their estate taxes after the federal changes. Of these, 15 states -- Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin -- and the District of Columbia decoupled from the federal changes. Two states -- Nebraska and Washington -- retained their tax by enacting similar but separate estate taxes.

Also more commonly known as the death tax. When you die, you get taxed again on the stuff, you were already taxed on the first time around.

Or your family can simply sell it off, pay taxes on what they get from that (Which is a bit less) and have nothing when it's over with.

Fun times, Huh?

Neither team leaving would surprise me.

LA and Las Vegas seem like logical landing spots.

I wouldn't be shocked by either moving. Especially Jacksonville cause they can't seem to even fill that place up when they're doing well and competing for the playoffs. I guess because Florida already had a couple of teams so just adding another one didn't make sense for them. *Shrugs*

The only thing that would shock me more than Las Vegas getting an NFL franchise would be Jerry Jones announcing he sold the franchise on Christmas Day. The NFL has rules in place that prevent officials from entering casinos if memory serves.

Would they sell out every single game? Hell yeah, but if one player ended up indebted to a casino or loan shark...Well, Goodell isn't about to allow the foundations of that scenario be laid down while he's Kommissioner.
