Their fans could make a legitimate comparison to the Osweiller situation(but worse) like so many here have tried to do. They also had the opportunity to trade Rivers last year and take Mariotta, but turned it down. I don't see why they would turn that down, extend him and then draft a QB at 3 the next year. Now maybe a QB goes in that slot, but it's not going to be to SD.

Yea, turning down the Titans trade offer was just stupid.............word is the trade was going to be straight up, Rivers for the 2nd overall pick.

I would have been all over that trade if I was San Diego.......totally stupid to walk away from that trade.

I don't know. I think it would take balls of steel to make that trade if you are the Chargers. I doubt many here would trade Romo of two years ago for the second overall pick from the Titans at the time it was made. As of now more people would because of health concerns.
