Jonathan Kongbo

6'5" 256 lbs. only 23

Cowboys should take a look at him.

He was the top JuCo player in the country a few years ago; he played in the league I coached in.

Showed flashes at Tennessee and then was drafted by the CFL with the agreement he could walk away from his contract to pursue an NFL career.

I know, I know. McClay has shown he's willing to take a flyer on these types of guys before though.

This is the type of under-the-radar player signing that the Jones boys don't involve themselves in.

Maybe if he's still out there after we jettison this dead weight in three weeks?

He's had one sack in 12 games for Winnipeg, so what's the appeal?

I thought our DT's were the weak link? If we had monster's like the ravens clogging up the middle then I could see this guy. But Quinn is balling and if you could get the other side to play like he talks, then both ends would be good.

It's definitely a "potential" pick-up.

I'm guessing that his agent wouldn't have advised him to opt out of his CFL contract if he didn't know there was legit NFL interest.

Do you literally not know the difference between 4-3 and 3-4 linebackers?

Not really but only because I really don't care:

I do know the difference between when and when not to use the word "literally".

The free agent the Cowboys should be signing is CB Janoris Jenkins.
