I haven't heard of David Boston. Where is he from?

Koren Robinson, from what I've seen, is a great player, and I'd take him.

I don't think I've had the chance to say :welcome: to the forum!

Word on Robinson was that he cleaned up his act(alcohol). He showed well for Minny and they want him back. The guy has all the talent in the world.

Forget Boston, he was 4th string on Miami for gods sake. Robinson might be worth a shot, but last ear was the ear to sign him, this year he'll want more money than he's worth.

Let me also welcome you to the board.

David Boston........no way.

Koren Robinson maybe. He has really turned his life around the last year to year and a half. Last year I said no way to him but now I would see what he wants.

Honestly, I would take Isaac Bruce over either of those two. Yes he's old, but he's a true professional and keeps himself in good shape.

Why? Is David Boston anything special that we should know about him?

His bio: two bit WR from Arizona. The lousy Cardinals didn't want him. What does that tell us?

Why would I care about David Boston? I don't get it???

Boston is the poster child for steroid abuse.....no thanks

If Robinson really has cleaned himself up, which does seem to be the case, I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

Boston is too injury prone and is a bit too "coocoo for cocoa puffs" for my liking.

Robinson has everything you'd want in a WR... except the ability to catch the ball. And he's got a bad attitude.

No thanks.

This isn't a prime year for WRs, either in the draft or in Free Agency.

If the WR prospect pool is shallow, the FA WR pool might be even shallower. After big-money guys like Randle El, Givens, and Owens, there's not much left except for 3rd or 4th-WR-types. Since all we need is a 3rd or 4th-WR, what about one of these UFA's (since we don't have a 4th-round pick, I'd hate to lose another pick on a RFA WR):

1. Jabar Gaffney, 6'1", 205 lbs., age 25, '05: 55 catches, 492 yards, 8.9 ypc., 2 TD's. He has decent speed and hands. His career numbers with HOU were nothing special, but remember D. Carr probably spent most of his time either throwing to A. Johnson or running for his life behind that horrible line. '05 base salary: $476,875.

2. Reche Caldwell, 6'0", 215 lbs., age 26, '05: 28 rec., 352 yards, 12.6 ypc, 1 TD. Has speed to burn along with decent size, but not the greatest route runner. '05 base salary: $455,000.

3. Tim Carter, 6'0", 200 lbs., age 26, '05: 10 rec., 186 yards, 18.6 ypc, 0 TD's. See Caldwell. '05 base salary: $555,000.

4. Andre Davis, 6'1", 195 lbs., age 26, '05: 9 rec., 190 yards, 21.1 ypc, 1 TD. See above. '05 base salary: $481,250.

None of these guys are anything special, but they are all still pretty young and athletic and wouldn't cost much. Besides, a 3rd or 4th WR isn't expected to be sensational. Dez White, Peter Warrick, and (gag) A. Bryant are maybe the next most interesting ones. Crayton I think will make a nice 3rd or 4th guy someday but I wouldn't mind having another veteran WR that isn't too old so that we could go to a 4-WR set once every blue moon.

First, :welcome: to the forum.

I used to be big on getting Boston. Other than that one huge year in a Cardinals uni he's been a complete head case and bust. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole.

Not very high on Koren either. Too many red flags about his character.

In my humble opinion David Boston can be considered a Bust. There was alot of hype on him when coming out in the Draft and to be quite honest he has never lived up to the expectations anywhere hes been. I believe he was the listed as the forth Receiver for Miami last season which should say something about him. Koren Robinson has some talent but has had some off-field problems, so to be honest I would pass on both of them.

I always wanted to take a shot at getting Boston if he was healthy. He has the talent and skill needed to be a number 1 receiver.

In his second year pro with arizona he got 1156 yards and in his third year pro he got 1598 yards.

the year after that he only played 8 games, and that was his final year in Arizona.

He went to san diego and played in 14 games getting 880 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns.

When he was on the field he had production. If he can properly rehab from his steroid use and injuries, he'll be a key player in the league down the line. I don't even think he is a free agent.

You combine him with David Brees in Miami and Chris Chambers, and Ronnie Brown, Randy McMichael... you'll have an offense...
