Free Albums on Itunes or Google Play

Good thing about free albums on Itunes or Google Play is that you can set up an account even if you don't have an Iphone or Android phone. So if you have an Iphone you can still download from google play on a computer and transfer it to your itunes library and to your phone. Same with Android phones if you get something free on Itunes.

So with that in mind lets keep this thread going in the future and if a new Album is free on either Itunes or Google play we can keep it updated so if anyone wants to get the free album they can do so. Would rather keep this as free full albums as opposed to just singles but not opposed to having singles listed in here as well.

Another good thing about this is that even if the artist with the free albums are not your personal taste in music...maybe your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, family member or friend might like the artist and you can help them get it. Or just a friend in here might see it and get it.


I believe most of us already know but just in case..the New U2 full album, Songs of Innocence, is free on Itunes right now.

Demi Lovato album Demi is free right now on Google Play. It is the free album of the week but was on there last week so if you want it you might want to get it before they change it. Not really my taste in music but a couple of ladies at work were happy I downloaded it for them.

So again...it might not be your taste in music but it might be someone elses that you can help out.

So let's keep this going.

I thought I saw the U2 album being free on a commercal last night. I figured I must have read it wrong. Why would an artist give away an album? It's not like U2 needs the publicity.

Apple downloaded the album for free..it's actually very good.

Not to me. I like having a product I can listen to without having to go online. I also like having a physical copy of can have in my car or as a physical backup. So if it is a album I pay for, I download it and burn a copy of it. That does not happen with radios or streaming. Nor do I want to pay a monthly service for online cloud storage for my music that is around twenty plus gigs.

Well yea if you want the physical copy that's different...do you mean that you're just going to burn them all onto CDs?

I save them on two different hard drives on my computer. Move them to the SD card on my phone. I also burn a copy (most of the time) so I can listen to it in my car.

Probably a little OCD on my part with all of that but I have lost stuff before and took too long trying to download stuff again.

I really don't listen to much streaming stuff now except for podcasts and YouTube if you count that as streaming.
