Callahan left here to be a O-line coach where?
He built it, like he does everywhere he goes... He'll build one again with the Commanders, who drafted OL their first pick...

Not me. If he did not want to be in Dallas, leave. I am sure the whole 2013 fiasco was a problem.
Good luck to you with the Commander line and may you cry a thousand tears, Bill.
When Murray took the Eagles money, there was an immediate and palpable reaction from the club. They were disappointed. Even prior to that, there was a brief courtship. None of that existed with Parnell.
Just heard that on Ben and Skin.
Makes more sense now. I can't imagine them going to Jerrys house to try and talk this guy into playing in Dallas.
Also, just saying, I would feel a little betrayed by my teammates if I were Free and Leary.
We offered him to stay. He's there because of a friend, i.e. Gruden and he is the one that built this line. Our line was garbage before he got here. He's never had trouble building lines. Lines tend to fall apart when he leaves.
So, help me understand.Teams have been known to pretend to be upset about losing a fan favorite. The scuttlebutt on local sports talk radio is that the Cowboys made a deal with McFadden before Murray made his decision but they wanted to wait and make it appear to be Murray's decision.
lolMy guess is that you've never studied the game footage
lol
I love it when you say that.
My kids watch a lot of Spongebob cartoons. Doesn't make them animation experts.
So, help me understand.
They pretended to be upset about Murray, yet feigned indifference about Parnell?
It is also not common place for people to develop unhealthy attractions for backup players and obsess over them to the point that they view the all-22 with a box of tissues handy.
I am pretty certain if the organization valued Parnell as much as you do, he would be extended. You can down Free all you want, but in the grand scene of things, they prefer him to Parnell and always have.
Free has ben told to take paycuts and everyone is constantly on the lookout for his replacement here. I think he has to have some thick skin or he would have already folded up shop by now.
With Leary being so young, I can understand if he was salty because of this. At the same time, it's professional football. It's meant to be competitive. And Collins is making peanuts from an NFL standpoint, so it's not as if his contract forces him into the starting lineup. If you're Leary, you go out there and try to win the battle and keep the starting job.
I've said this before, but the issue is not really about Parnell per se. It is about players like him where fans use some whacky fan logic to form very strong but completely uninformed opinions. If the media or someone is not telling them that a player is good, then they can't conceive of it themselves. In fan logic if a player has been on a team for a certain amount of time without starting, then he must be terrible despite the fact that a player like Parnell took a completely different path than 99%+ of NFL players. There are a lot of other fan logic issues that people use to form very strong opinions without ever really getting the facts or putting in the effort into watch game footage or whatever it takes to have an informed opinion.
The sad part is a lot of fan logic is based on something some media guy says like Broaddus who we know is wrong often. It's the same type of logic that had some people claiming the La'el Collins had bad character.
It seems like you would get as tired as I do of people arguing a point despite being completely uninformed. Booze....
