So far, RG3 looking like McCown's backup. He just can't get anything going. Bucs 27 Browns 3 - a few minutes left in the first half.

I think Jameis Winston is the next Great American QB. Beautiful sideline pass to Evans. "Winston to Evans" will be on many TB recaps this season.

Evans just scored... dude just snatched a beautiful pass from Winston with a defender right behind him. Bucs are up and coming. I know it's CLE, but TB has an elite young team.
Until he does something stupid and gets suspended.

Can't shake the perception that they end up like a lot of one year wonders. They have a good defense but unless you underestimate their offense, there are games to be won.
Yeah I agree. They had the #1 scoring offense last year in part due to turnovers. Losing Josh won't help with that. Their edge rushers might be OK but I don't think they can count on a DT getting 11 sacks every year. Also they got home a lot last year when they blitzed. Teams will inevitably start to figure that out to some degree especially against rookie corners. If their pass rush isn't dominant they're in trouble.

On offense at some point they'll have to stop using Cam as a power rusher or that's a disaster waiting to happen. He played hurt in 2014 and their offense wasn't nearly as strong.

Could be just the one play, because I'm only half watching... But his pocket collapsed before he made it to his back foot. He tried to step up in the pocket and the OL got pushed right into him.

He's cleaned up his act quite a bit from his FSU days. I think all that noise is behind him.
Maybe, but I would not have wager a top pick on him. He just seems like a problem waiting to happen.

He just threw a TD pass to Gordon, so things are looking up for him. Still, the Browns are looking very much like the Browns.

They just need to look like a football team instead of the local rec team. I think they can do that. lol

Yeah, I have a good friend in Ohio who is a big, big Browns fan and he just hasn't had much to cheer about. He was really hoping RG3 would finally solve their QB problem.

I understand that sentiment completely, he had some very heavy baggage coming out of college.

He was also screaming for help (like stealing meat from a supermarket). I think he's found the help and guidance he needed. He knows how important he is, he gets it.

Btw, before Dak was dropped down from Above, I trade 2 1's and 2's for a generational talent like Jameis.

If he can provide even a mediocre performance, that'll get 'em to next year.

With all due respect, I think his "true colors" are that of a phenom QB :)

You're entitled to your opinion. Mine is that you can't change the stripes on a tiger. He will find trouble at some point.

Did not. He wrapped him up around his waist and slid down as they fell. That's a picture perfect tackle.

Buy glasses. His arms were never near his waist. He wrapped up right above his knees. Run along, now.
