I think Jameis Winston is the next Great American QB. Beautiful sideline pass to Evans. "Winston to Evans" will be on many TB recaps this season.

Evans just scored... dude just snatched a beautiful pass from Winston with a defender right behind him. Bucs are up and coming. I know it's CLE, but TB has an elite young team.

IMO, Winston was certainly a better prospect coming out that that crop that went in the 1st round this year. Maybe long term they'll all pan out, but Winston seemed close to Pro ready.
I'm sure he's loving stud like Evans at WR.

The hype train is outta control in TB with that dynamic duo. I think Mariota is a future star, too. One of those rare drafts that produces two elite QB's.

I don't think Mariota touches the ceiling that Jameis reaches, tho.

That roughing the QB was horrible. If you can't do that, especially coming of a block where you are pushed, then they just need to do away with the sack altogether. Make QBs stay in the pocket, give them 3 seconds to throw, and it's incomplete if the ball in still in their hands when the 3 second clock goes off. That wouldn't be anymore ridiculous than that roughing call.

When he makes contact, his helmet is higher than Cousin's waist. The point of the rule is they they don't want helmet contact to the qbs knees from a defender launching themselves. His helmet is never close to the knees. If you can't wrap up a player who has the ball around his legs, it's no longer football.

I envision a 3 second clock with a loud buzzer like the shot clock in basketball.
