How far exactly is the stadium from the dallas fort worth air port?

Just got a hold of two tickets, so I'm coming to Texas Stadium for my first time ever. I've seen Dallas in: Atlanta, Carolina, Jax, and Wash so far. First time in texas stadium.

Any advice would be awesome!

thanks, I'll either take a taxi or a bus to get there. Whichever is easiest.

I am so excited, havn't missed even a preseason game since I was 4, and I'm 21 now. So buying my own tickets to a playoff game, and walking in Texas Stadium for the first time will be like when Rudy's dad went to Notre Dame "This is the most beautiful sight these eyes have ever seen"

:)

That's great. Coming over the bridge after parking is always cool the first time (okay, or every time, really).

Maybe we'll have a lead at the end so that "Rudy" i.e. Bobby Carpenter can get some playing time at the end.

"Bob-by.... Bob-by... Bob-by..."

I can't wait! I would LOVEEEEEEE to meet Terence Newman, he is my favorite player. But I'm excited just to go. Hell, any cowboy ( or coach for that matter) would make my whole year !

You should probably plan your transportation out right now. When does your flight arrive? You're going to need to get there plenty early, traffic bites for the hour or two before gametime.

Google Earth is a real fun toy if you have access to it.

Meaning if you can read this, then more than likely you should be able to download it.

It's great for the history of it, but it ain't all that nice.

Anyway, get there early and I wouldn't do a taxi -- it's absolute HELL getting out of there and in if you are not WAY early.

The North exit East on 114 about 12 miles or so. South exit is better, to 183 East. Go to Loop 12 exit and it's maybe 8 miles.

The last two times I have gone, I went to the Hooters accross the street from the Irving Mall. If you buy a drink there is a Shuttle that takes you to the game and picks you up. That way you can have your hotel shuttle drop you off at the Hooters.

Advice. MAKE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR TO THE HOTEL WHAT TIME YOU LEAVE AND WHEN YOU NEED A SHUTTLE.

Last trip I made was in October for the Patriot game and My shuttle never picked me up from the Hooters. I called and called and they said they were busy with airport runs and would be there shortly. I ended up taking a cab and I missed my flight. Instead of leaving at 9:30pm, I had to sleep in the terminal and leave the next morning at 10:00am.

We tailgate right behind the Corrall next to the driveway to Gate 8.

On the Hooters subject..

I would call them first. It was regular season when I went. I do not know if they do it during the playoffs. (Why wouldnt they right...)
