I love how folks here at cowboyszone love to question the validity of reports, especially those that shines a negative light on the players or the team in general. Always throwing the word "agenda" around or question the sources of the reports. Sometimes the toughest cowboys critics are the biggest fans because they hold this team to a higher standard. In addition, The cowboys can't improve for the better unless they admit and understand their faults and problems first.

Also, there is such thing called journalist integrity, as well other journalists ready to discredit anther's report if the story is indeed false or fabricated. Not to mention, a journalist can't expect to last long if he keeps on making up false stories to push his agenda through.

So why did this beacon of integrity decide this was worth reporting today and not when it happened?

I agree. But if you can't see the entertainment and their own agendas then you'd better look again.

Tank is going to do us a favor and remove himself from this team which is addition by subtraction IMO. That is one bad attitude down.

What is really troubling with this is Martellus Bennett. I caught a whiff of potential attitude problems in training camp, and here they are full blown. He is acting like a fool as a rookie, and if he is going to end up being a cancer then he should be traded. Witten has the bulk of his career left, and we can then elevate Curtis. If Curtis will work hard, and keep his attitude in check then I would rather go with that.

You don't know that this story is accurate about Bennett's attitude. His demeanor is offbeat but I like it. His efforts on the field are testimony to his attitude. He makes some mistakes but he looks like a player to me.

OTOH, if he's bucking Witten then he has a bad attitude. I hope he's listening.

There could be a myriad of valid reasons. the Cowboy PR department could have told the reporters to hold off negative reports that can present additiuonal distractions during the season. And once the season is done, its fair game.

PR departments of major corporations (as well as politicians and etc.) frequently ask this kind of favors from journalists/reporters that they have close relationships with.

Exactly. The Dallas media is just piling it on to sell more papers.

I hope Bennett stops hanging out with losers like Pacman. Hanging around guys like that doesn't get you started in the right direction.

I guess Werder wouldn't wait on his story, huh?

You can't be this naive...

You think Ed Werder and the Cowboys PR has a close working relationship?
If anything else, Werder is Cowboy PR's nightmare.

and whats up with the ad hominem attacks?

Jerry did Tank a favor. We all know this. And this is how Tank repays Jerry? Not a lot of class Tank.

The biggest problem Bennett has is youth. Curtis' biggest problem is lack of talent.

HUGE difference

If you took that as an attack, I apologize. Wasn't meant that way.

The timing is way too suspicous.

The DMN also had this to report from Khiladi:

"Who the hell cares Tank? You flat-out sucked here..."
