Ok first I want to say I won't 100% say there is no truth to that report that players told him these things weeks ago but I'll say that I really don't that those conversations went like that and that these things are true.

First of all, like people mentioned, if those things were said weeks ago then you can bet your last dollar, rather Jerry and the PR department liked it or not, that those stories would have been reported and would have been HUGE news in the DMN as well as on ESPN.

There is simply no way that Bennett went around saying he didn't care what Witten had to say and that he didn't ever talk to him and the media, out of the kindness of their hearts, decided not to report it till the season was over.

I'll call BS on this stuff.

Exactly, these stories would have flown all over the nation in a heartbeat.

I think someone just wants some "I Have Sources Too" Love from his editor.

You don't know that this story is accurate about Bennett's attitude. His demeanor is offbeat but I like it. His efforts on the field are testimony to his attitude. He makes some mistakes but he looks like a player to me.

OTOH, if he's bucking Witten then he has a bad attitude. I hope he's listening.

If he's "bucking" Witten, then automatically he's in the wrong? I'd say this is another piece of evidence that the real "cancer" on offense wears number 82.

Seriously? You just posted that and pasted it off as something you actually think?

Wow.

Wow.

Don't get me wrong. He's a great player. Best at his position in the history of the franchise. But who leaked the story to Werder? Who was the "rat"? And now its being reported that he wont even speak to a kid he should be trying to help grow? Greg Ellis wasn't happy when we drafted Spencer, but he still went out of his way to help the kid out. But Witten, apparently just the opposite.

None of this ever gets said in the media. Witten seems to have done an excellent job cultivating a good relationship with the press, so pretty much all the coverage he gets is fawning. Too bad he apparently doesn't work as hard on his relationship with his teammates.

This article is such BS, he's taken a lot of half-said and inferences and stated them as cold facts.

When Bennett talked about Witten, it was because Witten was giving him the silent treatment at the time, trying to get him to be self reliant.

He also never said, "I don't care what Witten says.", the statement was made about Witten missing time and that Bennett better be ready, and Bennett being Bennett basically said it didn't matter what Witten said because he was preparing like he was going to play, not, "I don't care about Witten being hurt or playing."

T.O. also showed plenty of frustration about what was going on, on the field. But, as has been stated, he can't raise his voice in public without someone saying he's having a meltdown.

They showed Spencer on Hard Knocks after he missed a rehab session, that had nothing to do with him not wanting to practice. He CAN'T practice till he's through rehab, and anyone that has ever been through a sports rehab knows there's nothing fun about it. He would probably rather have skipped it all together and just went right back to work.

Watkins is a bafoon.

Ummm...maybe I read it wrong but it appeared to me, from that article, that what they were saying was that Bennett doesn't talk to Witten and doesn't care what Witten has to say. Not the other way around.

Tank Johnson is a word I cannot say. He should thank his lucky stars that the Cowboys gave him a chance when his life was in the toliet. How soon he forgets.

Good riddance. Take PacMan with you.

Not only did the cowboys take him in after not much interest but the team who did take him in had to keep for a certain amount of suspension games. I think it was 2 or 4 games. Good thing the turd is going, even a rookie can contribute what he did. At least the rookie may have some upside to him.

Hey man, stop it. Can't you see the media trying to make certain players (they don't like) look like trash, while lifting others up... ;)

I can't blame anyone for wanting to leave this mess.

Sure you can, especially the ones who were virtually INVISIBLE for 16 games.

The article is about what I expect, but how it is written is laughable! Sounds like Emmit Smith wrote it. Bennett "wasn't trying to hear that". I kinda expected at least an article without hood slang. Oh well...pretty funny anyway and yes, he is a complete bafoon as someone said previously. His writing now shows he is,too.

I know, shameless plug.
