I know it's nothing more than a pipe dream at this point but I can't help but wonder how scary good this team would be with adding him into the mix. AP is scary enough normally but given fresh legs from a year off, a massive chip on his shoulder and our OL.. Holy hell.

We sign AP we are winning the SB or going very close to it and i mean playing in it is a dead set certainty.

This is the best Cowboys team on paper i have seen for the last 10 years easily.

Surely AP is swayed by this news of Collins and getting a chance to run the behind the best OL in the league for the next 5 years minimum that we have built.

Honestly, I call cleveland and offer a 4th/5th for Isaiah Crowell.

Im more and more on the AP bandwagon though

I agree. Crowell has promise but CJ will be cheaper and worth the gamble without us losing a draft pick so i would go that way regarding what we have to give up. IF AP does not come here.

AP has the choice now and how he could refuse us with this OL is mind boggling and he will not ever wear a Viking uniform again IMO. We have not been in this position for ages with FA players actually wanting to play for us and boy it feels good!

I am expecting AP wearing a Star on his helmet within 2 months and our next Lombardi not far off.

I do chuckle when I hear an Eagles fan talk about how Romo is one hit from being injured.

It's like they have completely forgotten who their starting QB is.

to me its like some fans know so much about Dallas and i picture to myself this season of Eagle fans saying "OH YEA YOU GOT ROMO the HOMO" than they turn around and realize who is their QB and facepalm themselves.

I'd almost be tempted to give up a 3rd for Tre Mason at this point.

No, he's a Skins fan so he has no logic or reason.

Let's remember that McClain was picked up because Sean Lee got injured on a routine play in practice and was out for the season.

Also, McClain was a high first round pick and we signed him for the NFL's equivalent of fish heads and rice. That's how you work with these players....put the team at minimal risk so you have virtually nothing to lose. Instead, you don't pay 4 continents for bums like Albert Haynesworth.

Some of those posts are just hilarious. The best was when a Giants fan said that Flowers is better. The one about OO running through him to get to Domo is a close second.

My favorite was the genius that said Collins wouldn't start on the Giants.

Yeah, o.k. Mr. Wizard. Somehow a top 10 talent would have been sitting on the bench because your O-line is such a juggernaut.

:lmao2:

One sick person too. Like I said, they have an unhealthy hate for the Cowboys but Cowboy fans don't even know the hatred exist for the most part.

Funny thing you said there, I point that out to people all the time. They ignore it but I still ask, do they even know that with all the hatred they spew about the Cowboys, not only do I not know what team they support; I don't care. So why if you have a favorite team are you always talking about the Cowboys? They never have an answer. Just they hate the Cowboys, People are madder at the Cowboys getting Collins than Mayweather winning the sleeper Saturday.

I'd rather trade to the Raiders for Latavius Murray. Surely we can fleece them with a scrub or two.

Even better, let's trade with Buffalo for McCoy....talk about rubbing it into the face of Philadelphia!!!

Some people are sheep, once a trend or perceived popular opinion gets started the sheeple fall into line,,,, that's why the media is so powerful.

why? take away a single 90 yard run and his numbers weren't much different then McFadden's.

Also, when he became the starter, his average dipped below 4 yards per carry, just like the guy he replaced.

5.2 ypc average with 82 carries last year. Pretty impressive behind that OL.

My point is, to be really deadly, we need a RB with quickness and speed. Get through the line and GONE! Good vision isn't as much of a factor with our OL.

I swear they're some of the stupidest most desperate fans out there.

This morning the topic was how good the Cowboys are. People are convinced the line will regress, romo will be hurt and Murray being gone will kill them.

All of this on top of Sam Bradford being a pro bowler and staying healthy all year.

They're so desperate and pathetic, it actually makes me mad

No it isn't if you actually look at what he did each carry.

take away a single carry for 90 yards and it drops to 4.0 yards per carry. put him in as the feature back and it drops to 3.5 yards per carry.

how is that impressive?
