Well now that Brock has been traded, and Jerry seems to think that Romo will have trade value. If Romo does not come to Houston, what do you think the Texans will do with the extra 10 million in McNair's pocket.

Re-signing Ryan Griffin will be the consolation prize if we fail to sign Romo and after losing Bouye, Demps and Simon. Nearly all of the top FA's have already signed elsewhere or will shortly. Ya, I'm salty.

It appears after our thunderous move yesterday we are met with the ever resounding cricket noise that lives in RS head...looks like thy are gonna sit on their thumbs waiting for Romo which Jerry has no intention of letting go anytime soon.

No FA QB.
That is from the front office. Romo is going to be a FA at some point. Houston turned down any trade deal Dallas talked to them about. Seems that this time they are not going to make the mistake they did on Brock. Romo is similar and for "Romo wanters" it's a bad omen.
Brock had a good W/L record in Denver. Romo could not get on the field. Brock was not an injury risk day 1. Romo is an injury prone player and at risk going to the bathroom.
Sum it up, I don't think McNair and Smith are interested like some people think. Brock was a big mistake and we got lucky we could deal him to the Browns. Romo could very well be a bigger mistake with the injury history. If McNair makes the move and it fails and/or Romo is hurt. The owner himself set the team back and he can't be the laughing stock of the NFL. He is too prideful for that. I am really wondering who is going to be the lamb that picks up Romo. Jets, Browns, Denver... and a report indicated 4 teams contacted Dallas about him that are not on the list of teams we knew. No names for the teams where given....wonder who it was.
