at the stats, etc., is that the OL was the culprit hampering the offense. (Can't watch pre-season games in London, and it was on at 3 a.m. on radio.)
In the running game, we got no push.
In the passing game, we couldn't protect.
And with respect to penalties, we got caught - a lot. Including, the potential game winning FG.
It seems that Tucker could be on his way out. Looks like addition by subtraction.
As for Rogers, I'm really pulling for this kid, but I don't think the offense (and team) can depend on him to stay healthy. He just seems to have the injury bug.
I like Petitti. It was a lot of pressure on a rookie, esp. a rookie switching sides. But it's a bit unfair to expect him to come in and hold his own from Day 1. He needs time to develop. And let's not forget, Petitti was on crutches about 1 week ago.
But right now, I'm thinking we should bring in a veteran OT to help out the OL. Not sure if we've considered Verba or Terry, but maybe we should?
