My thoughts as well. Actually, I would have to say that Hamlin is on the same level or better than Rhodes and Huff... so no point in trading for either.

Draft a FS although we don't really have a FS/SS on the team. They are mostly interchangeable.

I'm very torn when it comes to drafting a safety. First we have solid safeties. They just aren't more than solid. Then we have M Hamlin sitting in the wings along with Hodge. The defense, IMO, is a ball hawking FS away from being dominant. A dominant defense would make the less than stellar offense better by default.

That's what Jerry has to look at. We've overdrafted on defense compared to offense. And it's been going on for years. Another factor to consider. Esp with the offense needing more playmakers at WR and depth along the OL.

At least according to what some have said in regards to this draft the safety position coming out is pretty talented. If was going to address the safety spot I would do it in this draft in the mean time we have vets back there we can continue to play.

Just because at the end of his time with the Boys, rumors sent him everywhere for everybody so it just became a joke that I think will stick on him I guess... heu... forever

First round safety is an option if you've got an Ed Reed type sitting there ... but honestly, FS is a position where you can get quality later than that in most drafts. I expect a line pick or a CB in the first.
