That's not breaking the bank. It's going to take a while for people to get used to this high cap era.

It's breaking the bank when just a few days ago, Lorenzo Neal became the highest paid fullback with a 3 year extension worth 5.1 mil.

Maybe they have some interest in him as an H-Back type role, which might justify this. The "new high cap era" still doesn't explain this unless he's going to do more than just block.

I think $3M/yr for a FB is is a big deal. Granted it's not DE/OL/CB money, but fullbacks are a dime a dozen compared to other positional players. Even the RB market seems to be taking a nose dive...

It all depends on the actual contract terms. And getting about half of what a mediocre center can get isn't all that bad.

yeah the cap is 109 mil so at 53 players thats just over 2 mil a player factor in minimum contract types and $3 mil is not much at all

What would you pay for a healthy, young, Moose right now?
