You can see it for yourself here:

When you click on the point totals to see which teams have surrendered the fewest points, here's what comes up:

Points Allowed Per game is the one that matters, not total points (some teams haven't had a bye yet).
True. But points per drive is even better, because "points allowed divided by games" includes return scores when the defense wasn't even on the field. Also, not accounting for possessions punishes defenses on teams with bad offenses that can't stay on the field, causing the defense to face more possessions.

Well at the end of the game, all that matters is how many points the other team scored. But I get you, points per drive specifically shows how many points the defense gives up, not the whole team. But I was saying points per game is better in comparison to total points due to some teams having not had their bye week yet.

14th in defensive dvoa (we were 20th before last week).

Holding above water. I fear losing Mo.

I do as well but here's hoping Anthony Brown and Scandrick fill in admirably. We'll soon see. Keeping fingers crossed . . .

I also like the stat of the inky team not to allow a 100 yard rusher in the league. We all haven't allowed a 100 yard receiver.

Anti-jinx jinx evoked.

At this point it's all about matchups, all the teams are flawed with NE being the most balanced.

Agreed. I'm a little more worried about losing Church. I feel we have adequate backup support for Claiborne's position, not necessarily Churches.

We are climbing up in total d.
I said before the season started, we may start lower, but as the season moves on we may be middle of the pack, but may get to a top 12.
However, as long as by playoff push time and beyond if they can play like a top 10, it will be a success.

But now with the injuries, can they maintain this. Still need to find that pass rush.
But how many true strong offense do we face the rest of the year.
Pittsburgh, but they may not have that berger guy. Commanders, as it looks they are getting that going a little better. I do think Detroit can move the ball too. Maybe the Giants depending on a few things.

Yep some injuries in the secondary.

But I think the DL is starting to play a little better as are the linebackers not named Sean Lee.

Plus if you have matt schaub at qb and he throwing more pick 6s than tds.....that shouldn't go against the defense
