Like I said-if Wade had said what Reid said after a LOSS, CZ would go in utter meltdown.

People can say what they want about Wade, call him a lame duck or a bus driver if you want, but these palyers respond well to Wade and his style of coaching and they play their hearts out for the guy. I think thats important too.

Parcells was as hard nosed coach as they come and the palyers just didn't respond well to him. Wade is doing a fine job so far and I'm glad he's the coach for now.

I agree. I'm to the point I don't care what some fans think of Wade, I only concern myself on how the players respond to him. I hear guys like TO talking highly of Phillips which says a lot because I don't recall TO singing the praises of our last coach so it is not as if TO does not speak his mind. Phillips treats these guys like men and expects them to do the job.

Did he acknowledge any problems while we were getting our head handed to us last December? I'm not sure he did.....it bothered me then....and it bothers me now.

Who is he talking too? What he and his staff tell the players is more important to me than what he is telling the media. Do you really think he does not know the things you mentioned are not problems that need correcting?

Does the phrase, "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?" come to mind? If you want candor or humility, Wade ain't your guy.

It doesn't do him or the team any good to acknowledge any problems like face mask and such to the media, especially after a hard fought win like last nights game. It was a physical game and both teams defenses' were spent and thats when the penalties start to mount.

What can Wade do about the players grabbing face masks? I'm sure Wade has plenty concerns but thats why he has a entire coaching staff to fall back on.

Agreed. Wade is trying to adjust it. Look at his face and body language when we do that stuff. He doesn't look mad or disgruntled. He looks disappointed and upset.

He's a good coach. I hope we can win a SB for him this year. See he's got me rooting for him and not me.

Exactly. I thought Hard Knocks showed to anyone who doubted it that the coach who talks to the media isn't the same guy as the coach on the practice field.

Then don't. Phillips is talking to the media not the players what he says to the media is meaningless. As HC this team has played better than they have in years. Yes there is a lot of room for improvement but Wade is not going to trash his players to a hungry media.
