Funny story about one of our lesser known players...

I go in the Valley Ranch Gamestop last nite and there is this tall guy already at the register making a purchase. I overhear him telling a mom and her son that he plays for the Cowboys. I did not recognize who he is at all. Now the mom assumed he was an athlete because of his size. Since I didn't recognize who he was, I assumed he just took the bit and ran with it. Like yeah, I play for the Cowboys. He tells them he plays defensive end. Of course we all think we know our depth chart...Hatcher, Spears, Canty....He signs an autograph for the kid and leaves. I ask the guy behind the counter who he was and he says, that he forgot. So i'm like yeah, that guy just went along with the bit. He does not play for the boys. Ok, the guy was tall, but wasn't really the size of a defensive lineman on our team.

When I got home, I decided to check out our roster and look at our defensive ends and lo and behold, i'm an idiot. It was this guy...

it was Stephen Bowen and he is actually a Cowboy. I'm an idiiot.:laugh2:

it amazes me how these guys look without pads. I saw Ware and a friend coming out of Best Buy last week and he really looked like just a young kid.

I saw canty and his gf at the state fair in october. He was just hanging out eating a hamburger and some fries and walking around.

Nobody recognized him at all. I couldnt believe it. My wife insisted I go over and get a picture with him, but it was tuesday and I didnt want to bother the guy on his day off!

He still looked huge to me though!
