Tapper, who I wouldn't risk on the PS.

It will be interesting to see what we do with Tapper since we don't know exactly what the issue is with him.

If we don't put him on IR, then I think we do have to keep him on the 53, but I would think we'd keep him over McAdoo instead of keeping six ends.

Last word was that he was back to working with trainers. I believe the deadline has passed to add a player to PUP, so he's either on the 53 or cut.

Offensive line (8)
Tyron Smith, La'el Collins, Travis Frederick, Zach Martin, Ronald Leary, Chaz Green, Joe Looney
COMMENTS No other lineman has shown enough to be kept than these eight, so if Dallas wants to keep nine, it will have to pick up one. Outside of the occasional gaffe, Green has been better than I expected him to be. I'm at the point that I would trust him to protect the quarterback's blind side if he had to step in as the swing tackle ... knowing that he would make some mistakes.

I think you inadvertently left off Free

Like your 53 except no Dunbar? Also would like to see us keep Wilcox and get rid of Gachkar.

Like Broaddus said. I wish we could've seen him play to know what we have, but I guess we pretty much have to keep him.

I've never been a fan of the 4th pre-season game. It was as expected, a horrible spectacle to behold. But enough of the negativity. Here is what a liked... Anthony Brown, Darius Jackson, Chaz Green.

I think IR could be the route depending on where he is. That he's working with the trainers might mean he's close to returning though.

I wonder if Thornton is struggling at adjusting to what is essentially a one gap 4-3 system from the 2 gap 3-4 system played in Philly under Kelly.
He looks like he lost significant weight since last season.

I'm much more positive on Showers this year than I was last year. I think his upside now is porentially a quality starter and/or a very good backup. His moving around in the pocket is light years better, now he needs to work on consistency of throwing mechanics in the pockets. He could have greatly benefitted from having better surrounding talent when he was on the field, but at least this talent allows him to understand what he needs to work on.

If anything, with the signing of Jarrod Johnson...and now Dak and the way they like Showers...it's pretty apparent that the coaching staff wants QB's that can run.

YR

I also think Showers is worth developing. He didn't look good last night but some of the "bad" throws may have been due to WRa running poor routes. I saw few instance of that last night.

As much as it's hard to judge the WRs with bad QB play, it's the same judging QB play with bad WRs. Especially the type of offense we run.

Who is the little dude with big arms from North Texas again? That dude was a tackling machine last night.
Yeah he had some guns on him. Wish all of our linebackers had big gunzzz like Navarro Bowman

Why do we have tiny linebackers with small gunzzzz?
Other teams have some big boys.

It seems like between he and the King guy they are better than our front line LB'S but size is their detriment.

Akunne weighs 244 lbs, so he apparently has the weight, if not the height. I've been wondering lately if he could play the Mike position well enough to possibly replace Hitchens.

Most sites have his height weight at 5'11 230. I kinda like him though. Hope he gets a chance

You also have seven linebackers as far as the number, but you only have six listed

I was writing that in a hurry last night because it was past my bedtime. : )

My linebackers are Lee, Durant, Hitchens, Wilson, Gachkar, Nzeocha and Wilber, so it looks like I forgot Wilber.
