New England got 404 yards of Total Offense tonight. This means they are now 36 yards behind the Cowboys.

Here is Dallas' rankings after the first four weeks.

Total Offense: 1st
Rushing Offense: 6th (Pats passed Boys here by 17)
Passing Offense: 3rd (Boys passed both Cinci and NE)

Total Defense: 8th (given up 2 yards more than Philly)
Rushing Defense: 7th
Passing Defense: 15th (Dallas was 31st after opening night)

Will our defense is moving up to at least be respectable and we do generate a lot of turnovers lately. With addition of Ellis & Newman in their 2nd game, hoping we can take it up another notch. We've got to be able to get consistent pressure on Brady to force him make mistakes. Moss will be a handful though. Offensively we've also got to make sure NE finds TO even more of a handful.

We scored 35 points, the Pats scored 34. So we are now 3 full points ahead of them for #1 scoring offense as well. :)

We are #1 in points scored per game - 37.8, #1 in yards per game - 440.8, and #1 in average yards per play - 7.0. That last stat is the most impressive to me.

Even with the Giants scoring 35 on us in week-1 we are still 2nd in point differential at 79 (meaning we have outscored our opponents by a total of 79 points). Our defense is playing better each week and allowing fewer points. In fact they shut out the Rams offense as their only score was on a punt return.

Pretty amazing numbers when you consider the offense shut it down in the 4th quarter in 3 of those games.

I love our offense but I will say that Pats offense looks damn good. Only problem I see right now with the Dallas offense that the Pats are not doing is getting off to the slow starts. I think this is an area I would like to see improved.

I agree, we tend to start slow and come on big in the second half. I'd like to see us start off well and continue to deliver a beatdown for 60 minutes.

Watching that Pats defense as well as their offense I don't think that is a game where you want to fall behind early. Pats D looks fast and more important they look smart in always being where they should be on the field.

My concern is Moss. On that first TD the defender was in perfect position, but he just out jumped the defender and made the catch. Moss always kicks our ***, but I really, really want us to win that game in two weeks because I am fricken sick and tired of hearing all the man-love on ESPN for the Patriots.
