Im not crazy about it, but if he becomes what they envision, then it is worth it. He can get to the QB, but he gets clogged up too much for my liking.

We are building the trenches can't be mad about that. Would not be surprised If we trade future picks to get a 3rd this year if the right player falls.

It's nothing wrong with the player it's just how Dallas got him.

But it's over time to move on.

We would have had Jernigan and Martin instead of Lawrence.

A lazy, over-glorified 1-Tech that can't get off a block to save his life and a DE that's probably not as good as the DE we got.

Oh darn. Too bad we missed out on that sweet deal.

Baltimore didn't think so. I tend to agree with Ozzie Newsome than you. But they will settle it on field.

If Ozzie wanted a good run-stopper, he sure got one.

He maybe a better pass rusher than you give him credit for. He has incredibly quick and active hand to get blockers off him. Marinelli may have been able to turn him into a good inside rusher. At the minimum he would be the immovable rock next to Melton. Our D can use any good D line play in its current state.

So we got a young and very capable pass rusher to play DE for this dine "that can use any good dline play In its current state".

Our dline has quite a rotation right across it now especially if Spencer is still a player and McClain is the 1 tech Marinelli see's him as.

Melton although coming off injury we know is a player in this scheme. Mincey and Selvie are no slouches and Crawford and Bass certainly have potential as well youth to go with Lawrence's.

If we felt OLB and OG were now BPA and picked in that direction I wouldn't be overly worried about the dline as is IMHO.

Respectfully disagree with your best case scenario. Spencer is at best a part time player and a shell of his old self. He still walking with limp now! Crawford with Achilles tear. This type of injury takes two years to recover. Bass is an unknown. Mincey a cheap FA that not many want. Selvie was a nice FA find but best as reserve. We would use two YOUNG high draft picks, IMHO.
