It was still stupid to cut Glenn. We could of cut Nate Jones or Alan Ball and still signed this other guy.

In reading the last post of that thread someone said that Oglesby played better outside than in the slot. That is something we need because that is where Newman plays in the nickel. Nice little observation I thought.

I don't remember seeing an official blurb about it. But I just read another blog entry that gave him a different jersey number.

I thought the Oglesby pickup was very solid. Like others have said, you don't play for the Ravens unless you've got something. He comes from a very aggressive, attacking style of defense. He is also a good special teams player. Considering how Dallas was needing exactly those kinds of things, I don't see why people wouldn't be pretty pleased with him.

Could it be because the Dallas media keeps telling us how Dallas needs three shut down corners?

Gotcha. Thanks guys.

Last I read was that that was the plan for him to go on the PS, but then I didn't see anything else to say he'd signed. Oops for me.

That's the bottom line This guy is capable of doing more for us. He may not have the experience, but he has fresher legs and is aggressive. Glenn was about used up.
