Bears the best bet for Thanksgiving
All indications are that the Cowboys will host Chicago on Thanksgiving Day. A league source said that would be a good guess. The Cowboys hosted the Bears on Thanksgiving in 2004, beating the visitors 21-7.
Dallas hasn't hosted a division opponent on Thanksgiving since 2002 when they beat the Commanders 27-20.

Razorback still a part of plan
The Cowboys didn't get a ton of production out of the Razorback, their version of the single-wing offense. But it did get Tashard Choice involved in the offense, allowing him to take the direct snap.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the formation will remain in the playbook this season.
"I see it back," Jones said. "I think it was productive. Choice is a good back there."

Hodge won't be ready for OTAs
The Cowboys drafted 12 players last year. Five of them were injured for all or part of last season, including tackle Robert Brewster, linebacker Stephen Hodge and linebacker Brandon Williams.
"You know them better than when they were drafted," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said at the NFL owners meetings in Orlando. "I would have drafted them at exactly where we drafted them. ...Frankly, it's really an aberration to have had that many of those players hurt, but I'm glad we didn't have to make decisions about exposing them [on the waiver wire], trying to get them to the practice squad or trying to protect them once they were on the practice squad. It was good to have that. I can say that because they had very legitimate injuries."
Hodge, a former TCU standout, underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee in mid-September. He will not be ready for organized team activities, Jones said, but Hodge should be ready to return for training camp.
"It's unfortunate that we're dealing with this injury with Hodge," Jones said.
Brewster tore a pectoral muscle that kept him out all of last season, and Williams missed the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
