It is nitpicking, to be sure. But I think to see a professional writer misuse words instantly damages their credibility.

The thing is, I have never heard anyone, not even his harshest critics say any differently than this. His work ethic is never questioned. The only "on the field" criticism I have eve heard of him is too many dropped passes and that is a fair and honest assessment.

It's like deja vu. Someone decides to do something that effects others and the press starts questioning people who knew the person responsible. You can almost script the replies...

"He was always the quiet sort".

"I never dreamed he could have ever done such a thing".

Personally, I want people who work hard and care....if he disturbs some people off the field with his criticism and lack of responsibility, isn't incumbent on his teammates/coaches to either a) ignore him b) tell him he is an idiot and shut the hell up?

I mean the 90's Cowboys won multiple Super Bowls with the biggest off-the-field ****** in the world in Charles Haley and distractions from every which way including coaches and owners. This whole T.O thing tells me alot more about the lack of leadership amongst the rest of the group than it does about T.O.

Please! You must ignore all positive things that are said about Terrell Owens. It is all lies and propaganda. These people say these nice things because they dont want to say bad things. Trust me it makes sense. There is nothing nice to say about this Terrell Owens person. Nothing. Niente. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

If you see a guy that works hard day in and day out and a guy that may sometimes slack it, it's a no brainer who would be getting the support of his teammates.
